Played together at Kranji and agree with Paul totally. Rogy was awesome and very very boring. Fairway after fairway and green after green in regulation. Very scary. Oh yes, I have already asked for strokes

No doubt, Paul is a great coach & I am really thankful for his patience and perseverance with me throughout this swing change process. Thanks Paul.
Credit must also be given to Dr Ng & Dr Goh for fitting me with the full arsenal of " tan jia" weapons!! Still waiting to get my hands on one of those Zen ZA1 ultimate putting machine, with the F360 shaft.... Thanks guys.

RogY's Before and After Swing
Without the change is set up, this fix would not be possible. The reverse pivot was caused by the shoulders turning in the wrong direction. This was because the set up was backwards. Many coaches try to fix a reverse pivot by just shortening the students swing. This will not fix the problem, just reduce your distance. Most movements in the swing, good and bad are a result of where the body starts from. If you get the start correct, the body can move in the correct positions Rogy still has some issues to address with his swing which will increase his power and get him under the 80 barrier

Hey RSC, curious to know Peter Senior's link to the RSS swing?
I remember first started to have interest in golf when watching Peter Senior took the British Open live telecast, with the newly emerged then belly putter.
Or did I remember correctly?

The extension at impact is better compared to the old swing. and the body torque is more efficient at the top of his swing (just look at the shoulder and hip ratio in the before and after clip).
No wonder RogY worse score this last few months was an 85.

The shoulder line rotating plane is it suppose the be aligned with the swing plane? Rogy after seems to be flatter (more horizontal). Just like to clear some doubt.

Yes the shoulders will appear to turn more flatter, but in fact they are just turning around his spine angle. If the shoulders turn on the plane line, the spine angle will tilt forward. We call this vertical turning and is a big cause of reverse pivots or tilting. I will explain it to you tmrw

Peter Senior is a long term student of Gary Edwin and the RSS. He has 19 tour victories on the Australian Tour, 4 on the European Tour and 3 on the Japan Tour. He was one of the first to use the broomstick putter, with great success. In 1989 he won 4 tournaments in a season on the Aussie Tour including the Australian Open, PGA and Johnnie Walker Classic. He will be hard to beat on the Senior Tour. His four events since turning 50, he has not finished outside the top 4.

though its not the technique I use, I like the RSS, its a very compact and tidy swing technique it really minimises the fat and thin shots as it focuses on ball compression and the club bottoms out nicely after contact in my opinion better than the stack and tilt technique, of which looks like it uses quite a bit of lowerback through impact, and the follow through looks painful!
though would this have a tendency of a push shot, Paul?

Your observations of the RSS are very true which is why it amazes my why golfers still want to get lateral movement in their swings. As for a tendency to push right , see the image below of RSS vs LSS. We all now where Tigers bad drives end up - push shots to the right. From the picture you can see in the RSS, club moves around the body, while LSS the club extends away from the body and out to the right. Doesn't make sense to me why golfers want to do this but obviously there is more than one way to swing a club.
