| Ah! So the after impact of the RSS is more of an "pull around" motion as compared to the Lateral's swing down the target line. Yeah that would nicely curb those push shots. Think why people aren't adapting the RSS is they don't see it on TV enough. Usually you see people emulate swings of guys like Tiger, Phil and Sergio, with the occational Furyk wannabe | |

| There is certainly more than 1 way to skin a cat. I firmly believe there is no 1 perfect swing out there. Look at trevino, nicklaus, palmer, furyk etc etc....
the LSS was sure enuf in fashion not too distant past, advocated by popular instructor like Jim McClean (i think). i call RSS the reversed 'K'. I prefer this swing purely and simply because it's more easily reproducible and causes the least wears n tears on the body.
Just my humble opinion.

| What a day for the RSS
In Australia at the Wynnum Pro Am, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places where all RSS'ers with some unbelievable scores
1st Andrew Bonhomme 62 2nd Rodney Pampling 63 3rd Scott Barr 64 T13th Stuart Bouvier 68 T13th Peter Senior 68
http://www.pga.org.au/site/_content/document/00039605-source.pdf
In Singapore at the SICC Junior, RSS'er Nicholas Lim shot a 2 under 70 to be in first place and my little man Edgar Oh (14 years old) had a 1 over 73. Hope the boys can continue on the next 2 days
Note: Rodney Pampling is 13 under par for his last 27 holes of tournament golf. In the Aus PGA on Sunday he played the last 9 holes in 6 under par which included 5 birdies in a row. Today he shot 7 under, 63

| I just had a call from Edgar Oh. He came first today in the SICC Junior Invitational. His final round of 71 included a birdie on his last hole. He finished in a tie for 1st and won on a count back against a Thai golfer. This is Edgars 4th victory this year amongst many top 5 finishes. A promising future awaits and it is hard to believe he is only 14 years old. Another of my students Cathleen Wong also called to tell me she had a hole in one on the 15th hole. | |

Paul Looking forward to some more of your videos. The B & A's are very helpful. Cheers bro RegiT you found Chris's profile. I was also amazed at how many great players Chris has coached. I truly believe his is one of the best coaches in Asia. I hope to be as good as him one day. Interesting that some of his former students that have changed coaches have fallen off the golf radar. I will try to put up some more videos when I get time.

| I just heard today that RSS'er and Sports School student Marc Ong has just been selected in the Singapore Mens National Squad. I am pretty sure that would make him the youngest ever at only 14 years of age. Well done Marc! | |

| Kinda messed around with the reverse K set up yesterday and I'm extremely intrigued at how the club bottoms out naturally after the ball! I mean I swung as hard as I could and still struck the ball flush. Normally I would have to think about things like clearing my waist earlier, weight transfers and all sort of timing things. And at first I was skeptical about not getting as much distance out of such a compact swing. But boy was I wrong. In fact I was longer! Probably due to the compression staying over the ball more. Intriguing! | |

| chemicalpro, I also have this same result since learning the RSS, much better impact and distance and less bad shot. I notice alot on the grass and on the slopes. Hardly any duff or top shot now compared to my old swing. The only thing you should be skeptical about is all the rubbish these other traditional methods are teaching. I think these old way is why not many golfers improving much. U hear all this keep head down, fully extend, left arm straight, transfer weight, clear hip. All this thought in less than 2 seconds swing. Too much relying on timing IMHO. Good luck with the swing | |

Is that comment (advice) correct?

| Brother Jake, nope I'm not taking lessons from Paul, never had a lesson before ever, thus far 100% self taught. If I remember correctly you're taking lessons from him every Thursday? I've kinda got this goal to work towards single hcp before assessing to take a pro. The pro of it is the self analysis is damn exciting to me, the con I guess is by then the "bad habits" would have sunk into my swing making it that much tougher to "correct". But like Paul said, there are many different ways to swing the club. Hopefully it holds true Happy new year JT, and to one and all! | |

From the website which you'd presented,
"Power comes from; Swingers (catch up) using lag Hitters (leverage) using right forearm thrust (and right shoulder)."
Is that comment (advice) correct? Interesting. Was having some major swing problems over the weekend and just couldn't hit the ball for nuts. My coach wasn't around, but I had his colleague (Justin Parsons, BHSG Sr Teaching Pro) come by to check it out. While I have been working on becoming a 'swinger', I have ended up having a very strong left handed grip and stood ridiculously far from the ball. He had me stand closer to the ball, and by forcing me to play a completely neutral left hand grip, I ended up using my shoulders and right hand/arm for the takeaway, with the left arm/hand just 'coming along for the ride'. first couple of shots felt weird, but after that, I noticed my ballstriking was much cleaner, and accuracy was back. I also noticed that on my downswing, aside from keeping my lower body quiet (no wobbly legs) I was powering my right side through with the sensation of the right hand viciously caning the ball. Ballflight was extremely penetrating, without the post-practice pain I usually get after a round of practice. I'm bringing this up because I can identify with the statements you posted above, and I pretty much concur with them.

Is that comment (advice) correct? I would say that is a good summary. I dont know much about TGM terminology (hitters/swingers) but RSS definitely leverage, LSS is catch up
