| I also want to share my experience with RSC. Firstly my game always sux an can only shoot 100 - 110. Always top the ball, duff it along the ground. Driver slice alot, mostly 2 - 3 putting each hole. Cannot hit off down hill and side hill. I went for the free analysis about 2 months ago and after listening to Paul, it makes alot of sense. I thought maybe try to go off on my own and try to correct but I actually become worse. I then decide to sign up for package of 10 hours. What i tried to fix myself was not correct and I was then convinced that you need an experience pro to monitor the change or it can become worse. First 2 lessons feel quite difficult as my body was not use to the set up changes but seen an big improvement on the video and to the impact. The set up soon became more comfortable and was hitting much better. I then go to the green and first game was lousy. I could not do the swing on the course. After discussing with Paul, we then decided to do a 9 hole course. He watched me play and noticed some basic mistake like alignment and ball position. Also my shots on the hills were terrible. Short game not good either. Once seeing the way I play we then started to work on some of the weaknesses. I also was told to keep statistics on putting, GIR, Fairways hit so can see where I am losing strokes. After some work on short game and down slopes, the next game I play was 98. First time under 100. My putting stats were 39 so we then focused on getting this down to 30. With some change to my routine and set up, the next game I play wass 95. Putting now 35. Bunkers were also causing me to loose alot of strokes so he corrected the bunker technique and can now play alot better. So after 8 lessons, I play at MBGC and my score now was 92, improved from 105 average. The slice is gone, the hill shots now can play and bunkers and putting are saving me many shots. Paul still believes we can get under 90, no problem. I found the package very valuable and have also met a great friend and coach that is very encouraging and willing to help. Sometimes he will stay an extra 10 minutes after the lesson to make sure I have got the drill corrrect. The atmosphere at the academy is great as all the students are working on drills, using the mirrors and training rooms and have met many kakis while there. Watching Quincy and some of the Sports school students really has opened my eyes to an easier way to play golf and I have stopped reading all these magazines tips and golf channel. Quincy was hittting his 7 iron 180m last week. Coach thank you for making this great game much more pleasurable and giving me a swing I can continue to improve on and lower my scores. The drills are weird at first but all help to get the correct swing. I highly recommend a visit to RSC | |

| Wow, that's very powerful testimonial from Smail. Either Smail is a brilliant student, or Paul is a superb coach, or both.... Nevertheless, consistently playing better & breaking 90 from 100+ within 2 to 3 months is an amazing feat. Congratulations to Smail & RSC. | |

| How smails broke 90 and how it is possible for anyone currently shooting 100 plus!
1. Reduce penalty shots from OOB and Hazards - 5 strokes saved. To do this I minimised his over the top swing, less of a slice. Less driver off the tee, more hybrid and 3 wood
2. Putting was 39 per round, reduce to 35 - 4 strokes saved. Changed from pendulum type stroke to RSS putting style
3. Bunker shots 2 - 3 to get out of most bunkers, now out first time most times - 6 strokes saved. Corrected closed club face and body angles to increase loft and improve angle of attack
4. Side hill and down hill lies - 3 strokes saved. Explained how to adjust set up for different types of lies. Less topping and duffing.
The nett result is 18 less shots per round.
Quite simple when you break it down. There are still so many other ways to reduce this score. Course management, shot shaping, chipping and pitching, mental game, equipment, another 4-5 in putting.
I basically told him that Par 3's are now Par 4's, Par 4's are now Par 5's and Par 5's are Par 6's. He has to leave his ego in the car park and play within his means. No mixing up ambitions with capabilities. As his confidence and ability increases, so can his ego. He does not need to hit every green in regulation to break 90.
Anything is possible if it is approached in the right way.

| Peter Senior has just turned 50 and has played 2 events on the European Senior Tour. His results were 4th and 2nd. This week he is the first round leader after a brilliant 7 under. His RSS is going to produce alot of success on the Senior Tours in the coming years
Congrats to Quincy Quek who finished 2nd at the SPGA Presidents Cup this week. After an average 2nd round he came to the academy to do some fine tuning and played great on the last day with a 69.
Marc Ong was the 2nd placed amateur.

| I didn't know there is a RSS putting style. This is new to me.
But looking at the breakdown above, it all make good sense.

Peter Senior ended up in a tie for 2nd. He will be heading to US Senior Tour School to hopefully qualify for the 2010 season. On current form he should have no problem getting through.

| At the US PGA Tour Turning Stone Championship, Rod Pampling currently sits in 2nd place after a bogey free 7 under this morning. He sits at 13 under par, 1 stroke behind the lead. He has also confirmed he will be playing at the Barclays Singapore Open. Anybody want to see the RSS in action, be sure to follow him around. The academy is trying to organise a day for Rod to come and give a demo which you will all be welcome to come to. Good Luck Rodney | |

| Hi Paul I have been follow up with your information (video) on the RSS after almost giving up golf in view of my poor normal setup - totally no confidence during range as most of the swing are very BAD. I find it easy to adopt as I can achieve my setup and swing easily. So, with about 3 months of practise (only twice a week at the range) ... I manage to PASS my PC test at NSRCC this afternoon. Luckily, all the tee off is striaght towards target but w/o much distance - manage to 1 on for the 1st and 2nd hole. Using the same set up for chipping and putting also. Might take up lesson from you in the near future to further improve my swing for better distance and accurracy (especially driver set up - usually experience SLICE for Driver but IRON is ok) Cheers | |
