- Sounds good, wonder by Nov this year, would the clubhouse be ready ?
Maybe Nov might go there for a few days golf... Really have no clue. Now, you would have to use the locker at the SPA. If you do want to go up in November, it is a full day trip so it might be good to consider staying there one night, play one more round in the morning and then come back in the afternoon.
Please do take note that at night, the place is a dead town, the only entertainment at night is the casino... Thank you, Winston
will definitely put that in part of the plan...maybe sometime in Sep or Oct, will try to find out more from you again Wah, eat durian, go range now go Vietnam... what next? next ?...now stay at home and surf net lor...btw, the durian not nice... Where you eat? I need to stuck that off my list too! I just wish i have the chance to go Vietnam to play too....

- We are staying at a local hotel, Sanouva.
It does not include local transport. Hotel charging us usd116 for transport from airport to golf club back to hotel for first day. Next two days we are intending to take local taxis. Do you have local transport contacts?
Seems like we are over paying. But I think we are paying to the country club, hotel is just booking on behalf.
For Saturday game, what do you suggest other than bo Chang?
Thanks I am very sure that you are paying for the agent fee because no way the club will over charge you when there is a promotion available.
I suggest that you try Vietnam golf and country club ( http://vietnamgolfcc.com/). It has 2 * 18 holes so you can play there for 2 days and still play different courses. The reason I am suggesting this is because since you are taking taxis, this will be a cheaper alternative.
As for local transport company, my contact is no longer in this line as she has made too much money and has decided to retire. Thanks Winston for the recommendations. I should have asked earlier, my mate did all the booking and it's probably too late to change the bookings. Are these country club Singapore or Malaysian standards? I'm asking if they are going to chase me out if I'm in slippers. That's good money from driving around to be able to retire! Any makan place or hangout place to recommend?

They don't have dress codes so flip flops are perfectly fine. As for hang out places, be more specific so that I know what to recommend. IF not convenient, can always PM.

| Try this guy http://www.golftourviet.com/ . Even local golfers purchased vouchers from him since he has good price for weekend. Most of the courses in the South have special price in the weekdays for less than 60USD per round. Some courses like BoChang or Dai Phuoc can provide transportation for a much cheaper price than taxi. | |

| Wilson. Thanks for the help. We did end up paying the club at promotional prices, was cheaper than what we were quoted. You were right, should not have played at bo chang! traffic was ridiculous!!! and the course was in pretty bad shape. Long Thanh is a very nice course, with pretty decent caddies. I should have asked for help earlier on, and gone with the agent to book everything hassle free. | |

Hoping to get back there soon to play the hill course. The club with the best caddies I have encountered here in HCMC so far is Vietnam Golf & Country Club. Many single handicap caddies.

It is not shampoo saloon. Those are shops that cater to the grooming for gentlemen....
