Vote: Worst Driving Range

Used to range there quite often cos it is just 5 mins from home.

Just changed management, new rates (macham MBGC) and likely going to charge parking also (installation of electronic gantry in progress).

Mats were relatively new, old balls (in fact they were brought from MBGC), payment via cash at the front desk.

My last visit was 3-4 months ago....Maybe things had changed...

Worst driving range is Punngol. Charges for parking.....

There's a new contender: Green Fairways Chinese Gdns. New management, new rules, new (higher) charges.

1) Newly installed carpark barrier wef 01 Dec. So now have to pay for parking.
2) Range Charges:
Members (@$438 p.a.): $4 per 100 balls (off=peak)
Non-members: $7 per 100 balls (off=peak)!!

Still not looking like brand new although they have new mats & recently repainted. New charges are exhorbitant. Used to be fairly well patronised early mornings but carpark now deserted. Must be becos no-one's parking there to car-pool & play in JB. But previous morning range regulars also dropped out completely.

Wonder how long they can last with these new changes; would have thought they'd want to attract more to patronise but what they've done completely turn off everyone. Not like this is a fantastic range; very basic but charges are the most ex!!

I heard parking charges are $1 per hr. After 7pm It's $3 per entry! U cannot even claim complimentary! At CEDAN, we can.... stupid management.!

Was at Bukit Batok driving range just now, really ridiculous to charge 3 buck per entry for parking.... Won't go back any more once I finish my credits.

If not wrong, you can get parking rebates from the Pro shop at the range. Ask the staff there.

The cash card machine for the carpark rebate is located in the room that is beside the ball dispenser machine.

I have to use the cash card with the range card?

Nope, range card is purchased and top up from the MST shop.

Just remember to pull out your cash card from the IU, I always forget and ends up walking back to car after I see the rebate machine. Sad

oh wow..didnt know that place changed so much! think its only been like a couple of months since i last visited..nice and surreal place to rest and relax and hit some balls before heading home..

looks like now i'm gonna avoid..

To those that frequent Bukit Batok driving range, how do I go about redeeming the carpark? I took my cash card to the 2nd floor, slot it into the machine in the carpark redeem machine it states $3 redeemed but when I exit the carpark, I still get charged. Do I not slot the card into the IU but the gantry one instead?

I managed to exit w/o any problem yesterday morning. A nice fellow told me to insert my cashcard to validate it for 2hrs free parking & NOT to insert it into my cashcard holder. I did as told but could not exit as the gantry sign showed parking charge of $2.40. So I inserted my cashcard back into my car holder & the gantry barrier just went up & showing $0.00 charge.... Not sure if this is the way to do it or I'm just plain lucky....... Hope you have better luck next time....

I'm heading there after work this evening, top up $50 and u get 350 balls free, i have been there 3 time, total parking already pay around 8+ and not even finish those free balls...

Looks like we may have met at BB, was at there from 12pm to 5pm. 1 week at least visit BB twice for 400/600balls per visit on poly vacation.

I do encounter same prbm as yours.

What I do is insert my cashcard into the m/c 2-3 tmes n so far so gd le.

why top level, cant hit drivers and distance is not accurate. At Bishan CustomGolf, i used their stimulater my 7iron reached 180m and i was like =,=. obviously the range is at a somewhat downhill.

I'm still beginner, lesser disturbance better for me =)

Anyway you will be surprise how many golfer use woods on 3rd level....
