my swing is a bit to work on R11s i sliced 5 outa 5 shots and razr fit i manage to slice 2 outa 5 distance 160-170 both are 10.5 lofts but razr fit is on stiff flex and R11s on regular flex both on factory setting

check your clubface after you hit a drive at the range, likely you are hitting the contact point on the side closer to the shaft hosel.. im currently facing this problem as well after a driver change. tweak your set up position and before you takeaway for backswing, lift the club up to the tee height, and see where the ball position is relative to your clubface, it should be at the sweet spot or slightly above, then that should be the contact point. of course there's possibly also a problem with swing plane..

To be truly great at anything, a little ego is required.

The same is true in golf. Unfortunately, some egos become a bit too large for anyone to want to deal with.

i play in the 100+. how could anyone play in the 80+ after only 7-8 months into game?

i'll have a game with you when i eventually get my handicap down to your level in the next few years.

think about it its not impossible, if you hit 250m, a strong tailwind and good roll, it will reach. its probably a one-off affair that all the elements were in place, at least for me. anyway driving distance is no big deal really. can drive but can't arrive what's the point.. and driving accuracy is more important than the distance..

i agree that arriving is way more important than driving. over the last year all i've worked on was my long shots and my driving has improved tremendously (both distance + accuracy), but i've seen a big decline in the standards of my iron play and short game. i'm on the fairway or not far off most of the time now but my scores have actually gone up. scores aside, i actually feel that golf is more enjoyable when you hit a bad tee shot but recover instead of making a bad score after a good drive

Only playing for 7 - 8 months and can hit 250 to 280 meters. I still remember I am still working how not to sliced when I am 7-8 month into the game. I just do not have talent at all

Its normal for golfers esp beginners to include elements of buggy track, tail wind, sprinkler head etc to account for that one freakishly long drive to juice up the average. I know I hv been guilty of that. But just like some launch monitors can show a roll of 20-30m with 7iron .. we normally only look at carry. if there is water at 260m will u still try to cross ?

I do not normally check how far I drive but at the range on average when I drive, I see the ball drop around the 200m mark (OCC range) therefore, can I say my actual distance is add 40 to 80 metres more?
