Eric was kind enough to do a driver fitting for me on the trackman. The software was impressive. I am not one to swap and change shafts too much, but the V2 shaft I was using just didn't feel right. After the fitting, Eric fitted me with a Graman 5 Series. I just tested it today on the range and I am astonished at how much further and better the ball flight is. I would estimate an added 20 metres of carry. I think once you all have a fairly consistent swing you should definitely invest in a fitting on the Trackman.

basically everyone has to be clear before they come for the analysis as to what they hope to achieve...like

1. can i gain better control with my present set of clubs
2. can i get more distance
3. is there a problem with my swing that i am not aware of
4. are my clubs optimised for me
5. what types of balls should i be using
6. if i need to go out and buy a set of clubs, what should i be looking at
7. are my clubs giving me the right yardage gap

and lots of other possibilities....

also you will be asked some questions before the session, which will take at least an hour. you can also bring in your clubs to check for their characteristic and flexes. we are going to keep it to 1 a day to ensure that we give you the fullest attention.

all participants will be given a detailed report in pdf format or in printed format. you will also learn what is the tour average and you can peg your performance to the pros.....like attack angle, angle of descent, hang time, launch angle, etc

Honestly, the Trackman is impressive, 3D somemore and can see the flight and attack from various position. Can also see the ball positions and dispersion at the landing zone. Somemore can also analyse how much strength your swing is contacting the ball and why your ball no distance....

anyway, i intend to do some testing of driver shafts on the same head Been borrowing a couple of r9 shafts, and i think it'll be good if we could start something like golfwrx.com where ppl post their spin rates and launch characteristics of new shafts etc ... !

After talking to Rex then I realised that there is this trackman thread. And I am a month late!!!
Must find 1 day to check it out. Very interested to bet and play a round of golf in that machine
