Bro, what I don't understand is, you are saying good things about Titleist driver and yet you put up a Callaway flag instead at the end of your post ...

Good for you guys. I am still using my old Bridgestone J33P driver, on aldila nv65 S.
Could not hit it well that is why toying with the idea of changing shaft but seems like not quite worth it to spend on such a old driver. But I still like the feeling of the driver. So confusing.

We tot the ads promise us the ultimate one, then another one and another one!
at the range, we feel the next game should be interesting, and sometime the same driver dont feel the same, why? With the same shaft, swing weight, total weight, even setting it on the same frequency it dont feel the same
so check the loft, lie, even the offset . open face, straight or close face
Some need deep face, and some need shallow face. oh not forgetting square driver.
Borrow one to try out on course, If U can swing , feel good, long distance, effortless, like the shape/colour and sound, BUY!(dont bother about brand or price--your kaki will help pay oso)
leave the critics to paint their pictures. But EXPENSIVE driver is not necessary to be better. good luck

I agree with you. The best is to try them out. Look, see, touch, hearsay.....all based on individual. Not forgetting one of the strongest part of new golf clubs is their marketing strategy.

Something to note is that the tour issue taylormade drivers up till the R1 are all way better than the stock versions. Anything above I have yet to try!
For me R1 V2 with a project x 6b7 shaft. Lowest spinning shaft with good launch I have played so far.

For me, the best driver is my current driver but shaft cut down to 44". I have always thought that I could handle a 45" driver. Thanks to adjustable driver technology, I swapped out my shaft to a friend's shaft which is 44". I found that it is easier to swing, easier to control and more predictable. The impact is much better and I have actually gained distance due to better contact and possibly higher clubhead speed.
Thanks to one great bro who keeps encouraging me to try shorter shafts.

Juz like the Pro, Rick below, I tried both R1 and RBZ II drivers before I settled for the RBZ II ... Reason being the latter remained stable even I cranked it hard ... But I sprayed left or right with the R1 once I cranked it real hard ... I find that I have to put in a little more effort and concentration to reap good result out of the R1 driver ... I got slightly better distance out of the RBZ II and dispersion was good too ...
