Anyone recently played at Poresia?

Long time since I last played in Poresia, used to be quite tough if you choose Orchid and Sakura and tee from blue...

My Khakis and I likes Poresia. It has 4 course, usually empty and quiet.

Actually most JB courses are quiet in regardless or wkdays or wkends.

Understand that will only materialise in about 5 years and also depending on the votes of the members to allow Poresia to sell back the land to Leisure Farm.

No so leh! I am member there and play there every single week. There are also many members here. Once you got used to the layout (Guests call it home ground advantage) you will know where to place your shots and attack or lay up. The course condition have improved quite a bit when the new management took over. The rough are now cropped and easier to look for ball. The fairway, yes, could be better but it is still playable. As for the green, it depends on what time of the day you play and weather condition. If hot, it can be quite fast.

That's my personal opinion.

agree some of the greens can be quite fast.. played orchid and sakura last mth off the blue

some of the fairways are left uncut .. carry with not much roll quite like the course

my fav par 3 is hole 12 and hole 26

Usually greens at Sakura n orchid r trimmed n fast. Greens in bougainvillea r slower n not trim.

was wondering if lsisure farm residents got any special rates?

Courses where the CP is open and without security carpass like Poresia its always a risk. Best for such instances to get a steering lock...
