Anyone recently played at Poresia?

Hi wish to play at Poresia as it is near sg.
May i know any bro and sis recently played there?
Appreciate it if you could do a short review of the course and its condition?

With New HWY, driving to Tanjong Putri now much shorter (20 to 25min) from Maly boarder. Thus TP might be another option

But its a challenging course. PV is like a walk in the park when compared to poresia.

For me.... Golf courses r all tough.... Can't break the number yet

Permas Jaya is a well-hidden course and it's not as short as some may say. It's a course which has its own challenges. With the right company, it's a really fun outing.

Only 9-holes, but certainly a lot of fun

Back to the original thread question, is Poresia condition really that bad ?

Oic...btw absolutely don't like Austin. From a relative in JB, I was told they are building some condo on the 9 holes.

Austin Hill is not an easy course IMHO.

Poresia fairways now very dry and hard, mixture of cow grass and other grass.
Greens are very slow and bumpy.
Dont expect much otherwise you will be disappointed.
No longer the condition it was 7 or 8 years ago.
But still a challenging course.

Austin Hill, very sayang.

Nice course, but poorly maintain.

Its a pity, really

I frequent Poresia only bcos it is nearest to SG.

They ve a new ownership n its named: Austin Heights
Austin Hills sold e land n now new boss only managed to obtain 30yrs lease as his main focus re houses.
Same approach as Horizon n they re improvg/redesigning their 18holes. No longer 2 x 18holes liao.
They ve completed e main entrance w proper security hse.

Poresia is near only if you go by 2nd Link, by woodlands I think JGCC is nearer also Ponderosa also quite close and with the opening of the new highway Tanjong Puteri is now a lot nearer.

Just got done with 18 holes this morning. Orchid and Bougainvillea.

Teebox: below average
Fairway: above average
Putting green: very very very slow!!!!

If you have more than one putter. Use the heaviest one that you got. You will need it to blast the ball to the hole.

Where is JGCC?? Never been there yet.
