| Hi Rick,
Just wish to check what is the different between circa and studio select. Sorry I and my friend is looking around for a putter and just want to hear from you rather than the shop owner.
By the way, which shops is authorised to sell Scotty putter.
Thanks

| Will the C.C. wedges be available in Sg? Will it be a 'ready to order' product?
Edwin Watts here might not stock them so soon because the demand for the current and outgoing SM models have been over-whelming. (My back-ups were back-ordered 1 1/2mths.) The C.C. models for them might even be a 'made to order' product since its only for pros and amateurs who are trying to qualify for the US Open that will use them.

Eric Hi Eric, Thanks for your question. The obvious differences are of course the shapes with the Circa 62 line having more classic designs and the Studio Select line being based around the Newport shape. Out of all the clubs a golfer carries, the putter shape and design is by far the most subjective. Some people love a certain shape that others don't but they can both be good putters. Its really personal preference. Both models are milled with the Circa 62 using mild carbon steel and a charcoal mist finish while the Studio Select line uses 303 stainless steel. Feel for both these putters would be about the same. One added piece of technology on the studio select line is the heel and toe weights which ensure a stable head at impact and also allow for many custom length options. Also , the improved high toe profile of Studio Select helps eliminate the tendency to raise the toe at address which can cause people to aim a bit left of the hole. You can read a bit more about each model on our local website www.titleist.com.sg and also find authorised dealers listed as well. Hopefully that gave you a bit more insight, if you still have some questions you can give me a call in our office at 67889560 and I would be happy to discuss more with you. Thanks Rick

CC wedges will be available through custom if people want them. The global demand will be very small as only golf professionals and amateurs planning to play in professional events need to convert in 2010. For the rest of us it business as usual. Thanks Rick

| Hi, I was reading from the Official Titleist Web that the new AP1 and AP2 irons will only be out in mid Nov this year. So those available online selling in ebay and those selling in golf house right now are all last year design?
Both I dun see any difference. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

| Hi Apriz,
I would let Rick answer in detail on the differences. But check out this thread to see our review and some of the differences are mentioned.
If you are just wondering if the irons are the New AP1, AP2 or the previous year model, simply look for the 710 on the hosel area. Those with 710 are the New AP1 and New AP2.

| there are slight aesthetic diffference... as with most other stuff, i.e., cars and bikes... the difference are subtle... since they are the same model... | |

| Not just aesthetic but quite a number of feedback from players are incorporated. Most notably is the bounce for shorter irons and the less clicky sound and feel. Would let Rick explain in more details. | |

Both I dun see any difference. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks. Sunny and Chee are both pretty right on. The main changes come in the feel dept. The new tuned feel system in the club reduces vibration and improves sound. We shaved some bounce off the short irons and obviously the aesthetics are different on the back plate. The basic structure and shape remains the same. These irons have been well received by golfers so the enhancements were to build upon an already good performing product. Thanks for posting, Rick

| What is the difference between NXT Extreme and NXT Tour? I can only tell the difference that Extremes is slightly harder and do not get cut by irons as easily as Tour | |

Hi, Mengteck, We distribute our products to golf shops, we don't do any retail ourself. The link below will show you the authorised dealers in Singapore where you can purchase our product from http://www.titleist.com.sg/dealers/default.asp Titleist fitting is available at Chilli Golf (Keppel Club) and Golf House (Suntec Centre) Thanks for your interest in Titleist Rick

Hi Mengteck, You've asked a great question and I am glad that I can answer this on the forum for both yourself and others to learn from. In general its interesting how many people take the ball for granted or don't care about what model they use. The golf ball is the only piece of a equipment we use for every single shot in golf. Its not uncommon to see people pay $500-1000 for a driver they hit only 14 times in a round but will often spend the least they can on a ball that they need to hit 80-100 times a round (depending on the level of player). The golf ball does matter very much and different balls have difference performance characteristics that can benefit a players game just as clubs do. Now to your question, in short NXT Tour is a performance product and NXT Extreme is a distance product. NXT Tour is a great all round performing product in that has distance off the tee, control with irons, spin performance and feel with wedges and the putter and good durability. So for a player who is looking for performance in all aspects of their game then this ball is a great choice. NXT Tour obvioulsy does not have the short game performance of ProV1 due to the cover difference (Urethane vs Fusablend) but it is certainly a very good option for a player that wants a ball like a ProV1 at a better price-point. NXT Extreme is our distance offering and ideal for a player who's main goal is maximum distance on all shots. Its long with driver and iron shots. NXT Extreme is the lowest spinning option we have an is therefore ideal for those looking for or needing very straight ball flight. The cover durability is great as you mentioned and the ball has good feel overall through low compression. Hopefully that helps and thanks for posting, Rick

| Hi Rick,
Thanks for the info. So can I generally conclude that NXT Tour will fly shorter then NXT Extreme, but the feel will be better.

Gone are the days of distance balls having high compressions. With the materials we use in todays cores we can make the ball feel soft compression wise but have a "hot" core that ensures great distance. If you are after length on all shots NXT Extreme is the ball for you. Apples to apples NXT Extreme could potentially go longer but it depends on the player and his/her launch conditions. NXT Tour is not a short ball by any means as it incorporates the same dual core technology used in ProV1X but would be better served for the player that wants all round performance especially closer to the green. Thanks Rick

They look pretty unique on Rickie Fowler. Hi, Yes, they look good but are only done for Rickie given the nature of his sponsorship. He's a talented player and hopefully we see him in the winners circle very soon. Rick
