Awesome gesture. I am sure it will great experience for all those that attend.

ok 28 is a nice no and i will start to consolidate the days and time.

usually its best to learn and get hands on experience, since we have loads of used clubs with grip, i am sure there are enough for everyone to have a go and extracting a grip and installing them, same with head extraction and installation.

i would think a 1 to 1 1/2 hours per session will be good.

Dan we have a can of Asahi for you when you come and inspect, since one of the topics you learned before becoming a PGA pro is clubfitting.

looking forward to meeting more GRians who are interested in beyond hitting balls.

Thanks sywog and Shanks!. we will start with the 2 groups. the purpose is to monitor progress and we may have to make modifications to the lesson plans.

eventually one must be able to change your own grips, extract clubheads, spine your shaft, trim and cut shafts as well as install your own golf equipment, complete with grip. thats the least for a hobby clubmaker to be able to do on his or her own. by then of course, i would expect you to be a member of the International Clubmakers' Guild too.

for those who are attending the first lesson and you want to be able to extract and install your own grips, please bring them along.
