yeah... but do Master give certificate?!?!?

Cos Eric said before he and another guy is the only tester in Singapore for clubfitting.
But what he meant for me was to go through a real course on clubfitting... which I am not sure who provides?

Unless master say he want teach me everything and give me a cert ^^

i can teach you and its best we leave you to be certified by fellow grader. Jeff (of TM) is also a grader and we have Jason in Taiwan and Nathan in Malaysia (soon). of course i am also a grader but i prefer my students to be graded by someone else.

the certificate is not issue by me but by ICG when you pass the criteria set out by Tech committee. to be eligible for a practical test, you need to pass the theory first and that will mean having to read up on at least 3 books on club fitting. it can be heavy if you have never done any hands on or training.

for taking time out to teach us the basics for interests groups like us.

I have to say,

am very impressed with Eric's professionalism,

didnt allow us to take short cuts and ensured that steps are done methodically and professionally.

Seriously considering the option to further pursue more knowledge club making.

Damn fun!

Thks Eric for your time.......it show club making is not easy. Doing it for hobby and making as your job is a huge difference.

That is cool. We should discuss this privately

sorry when it comes to classes, i am a bit strict and really like everyone to take it seriously. also safety comes first and once we take one shortcut, there will be another and another till one will lose the fundamental and the process of ensuring repeatable quality. i have seen it happen before and hence the steps can never be compromised.

of course when you do it daily for ages, one will get better at it.

and i am really quite impressed with everyone's effort especially Benny. also its good that we can see the mistake of others and understand that something so simple like tip preparation can look so simple but when one is careless, you pretty much can damaged the shaft.

i am personally looking forward to the next class and thank you Erick, Benny, Eng Wee and Adrian for attending.

Firstly greatly appreciate it for letting me join the group at the last minute. It was an eye opener, never knew club making takes this much effort. All thanks to eric's guidance and patience, i believe we learnt something new today.

Now time for me to sign up for the next lesson !
