| I was lucky to be among the first few to have first hand experience of the course.
it was an extremely fun experience. The master was strict in his teachings (I can imagine his assistant getting left, right, centres!!) but generous with his knowledge.
Prior to attending the class, I always thought club fitting would be just technical stuffs involving dismantling and assembling. The master has changed this notion and showed what it takes to be a professional club fitter.
Although this introductory course is only 2 days, its enough for you to decide if you want to progress further.
Guys, don't miss the opportunity to learn from the master .... I am sure more comments will come from those who attended course.
To sum up - I would say its time well spent....

| tonite is the 2nd lesson for group 2...Michael, Cristel and SBH.
for group 3:
1. Madmaru 2. Shanks! 3. Billyow
would next tuesday or wed be fine for you guys? looks like the session in head extraction and installation may take a little more than 2 hours but guarantee to be fun.
after this we will be clearer on what materials to prepare and we are also hoping to create a challenge trophy and a contest to find the top 3 promising club makers from Golf Republic. the judges will comprise of GR members and myself as technical advisor. like i say the fun has just begun.
let me know madmaru, shanks and billyow....DGman

| sorry for canceling today's session at the 11 7/8 hour....emergency reshafting for a very fussy customer...
but i am sure SBH, Michael and Cristel had fun watching and even had the opportunity to revised last week lesson on a very important set of clubs.
we can do lessons for Group 2 on monday or tuesday.

| we will be completing the first pilot programme with 9 registered participants by the end of business today. i will ask the participants for feedback and make changes if necessary for future lessons.
from a clubfitting perspective, we hope to introduce and supervise basic skills such as grip change and club head extraction and installaion of shafts. thereafter we aim to move to more subjects such as spineing, building up grips, checking shaft frequency, changing swing weight and more.
participants from group 2 was also given a chance to finish a ferrule using a ferrule turning belt, they will share how simple that is.
