Maybe we should all start to workout like Vijay Singh ... Note the way he trains his arms ... Maybe this is the answer to less tennis elbow problem ...

Hi simon
Actually if you went to NHG Polyclinics (not Singhealth), they have a physiotherapist at Woodlands and Bukit Batok branch (Hougang too IIRC). I've been seeing the physio at Woodlands for my sprained back from golfing, 90% better after 2 sessions and 1+ week's rest. His name is John Abraham. I'm considering popping down this week or next for my tennis elbow also
Hi Gymrat76, please us posted on your treatment. Am keen to see how effective is this physio.
Hi guys
Have not gone to the physio, but I have been actively golfing past 2 weeks. I find that using the forearm brace (available from Guardian etc) when playing I don't get any pain while playing and even after the game its not so bad. Plus I've been using Volatren cream (also available from Guardian over the counter) for the last few days (2-3 times a day) and its improving steadily, even with going to the range once a week and playing 9 or 18 hole once or twice a week. Will try this out for another couple of weeks to see if it continues to improve

Suggest to use FASTUM cream in the evening as this will reduce the inflammation and the pain.
But I can say that the ESWT therapy I had gone through in Alexandra Hospital is wonderful!!!!!!!! My pain had reduced a lot.
PM me your email and I can send you the exercises for your tennis elbow from the physio

ok...after 5 weeks of no golfing as well as repeated aggravation (carrying of some heavy stuff)....I decided to head to my reliable chinese sinsei at upper paya lebar.
Her diagnosis....inflammation...which is in tandem to what I read here. but she childed me for coming so late and suffering for weeks. according to her...any tennis/golf elbow pain for more than a week is not going to recover by itself.
the treatment.....typical light poking of the acupuncture needle on the elbow followed by suction cup (拔罐). There was blood being wiped off after the cup was released and then she showed me the paper to point to me the darkish blood within the pool of blood red....the clot blood (瘀血) that was stuck inside and there was instant dark blue black shown below the elbow bone.
oh...btw...a word of advice from the sinsei...if you have tennis/golf elbow pain...DO NOT Pressed/massage on the elbow bone area...it only increases the inflammation. instead...massage the top of the forearm and bicep muscles to loosen the tendon/veins.
