Tennis Elbow Solution - Acupuncture

Was reading thread on Dr Du's Tuina skills.
And come to realise tt many ppl r also suffering fr elbow pains. So would like to share my exp.

I just solve my tennis elbow prob since last dec. after 4 months of lay-off & trying various methods. Went ortho, physio, tried a few acupuntures. And finally solve it with an Eu Yan Sang yishi - Dr Chan.

I had 1 session & able to Play 18h the next day but of cse was a relax game.
His acupuncture was different fr Wat I had earlier. The last few acup basically poke & wait for 20-30 mins. Dr chan's one consist of poking & shaking & turning the needle. There will be discomfort & slight pain, light electric shock. It's very fast, 5-10 mins & done but the feeling of sore will last half a day. I go during lunch break so his fast therapy is just perfect.

I paid $8 + $28. Out in 20-30mins.

If not gd, pls dun spam me, only sharing exp. The previous Yishi I visited were all recommended & non can solve my elbow too!

Hi May I know Dr Chan is from which Eu Yan Sang. I'm also suffering from the same condition and looking for a physician to treat it. Is the treatment painful? And how long have you been suffering from this condition?

Hi, i will like the contact for Dr Chan too. Just got the pain in elbow syndrome too. Apparently if it's on the inside of the elbow, it is called "golfer's elbow"...

What's Dr Chan's contact? Is the pain just like any other acupuncture session? Or worse?

Few years ago, I also had golf elbow. Went to see a Tcm in Jurong west st 51 n recovered after 2 months. Now I cut down my ranges and also go for golf lessons to correct my swing.

Has been fine since then.

Btw guys ... are any of you suffering from pain/inflammation in your left wrist? (I golf right handed)

Never had it before but it has started bugging me in the last few months ... sort of a niggling pain for now ... don't feel it during golf but rather at night while resting or in bed

Agree. Mine was on the inside of right elbow.
My problem was due to my swing, corrected since and pain gone as well.

Actually quite true ... Employing the wrong swing technique may cause golf elbow problem. I used to have similar problem but not anymore when I utilize my core muscle to swing the club ... Golfers who are armsy are more prone to this problem.

Agreed that pain is mostly caused by incorrect swing technique (it happened to me). I went for a tweak and pain is no more now...

I tried going to this sinseh. He told me my tennis elbow is due to a problem in my spine. Gave me a good 45min accupoint massage n my pain is gone.

I am suffering from both Tennis and Golf Elbow on my right arm.

When google-ing for information, i came across some articles that suggest Tennis Elbow is caused by the wrong grip size, while Golf Elbow is caused by hitting on the range matt extensively.

I also read that there is no fast recovery, it should be given time to heal, typically 2-4 months

I have golf elbows on left and right for about 6 months. Recently while in CHiangmai, found a Thai herb cream. Have been using it for past 2 weeks and found it effective.
