Playing 3 rounds over 5D4N

Just finish playing at Long Thanh GOlf & Contury club, Lake course. With smooth traffic, it took about an hour to get there. I have uploaded some photos. Green Fees & Caddy = USD$40. A friend kindly provided vouchers for the group.

Trust me, it is not because of lack of trying, they wont let me take leh. And to make it even worse, all cover up from head to toe to protect their lovely white skin from getting dark...haiz.......

Played at Song Be Golf this afternoon. The day before the club hosted the Vietnam leg of the Mercedes Tour. The green was crazy fast and the rough was very deep by Song Be normal standards.

Andrew, if you like the course when you first played here, you would have liked it even more today. Pin placement and green speed made it for a very intresting day to say the least.

Club pix are nice - reminds me of the best malaysian course in the 1990s, nice rolling fairways, some elevated tee boxes, always an island green or two to remember. But malaysian courses never had such cute caddies dressed like cheer leaders to distract us.

Hi Sky, Long Thanh has 2 * 18 holes. The pictures are of the Lake Course.

Good?

Dong Nai Golf course is a good 1.5 hrs away. And that is with normal traffic. The course is ok. Just played there last saturday. Has 3 9 holes. Course A,B,C. Alot of water and also harzards that cross the fairway. Very hilly as it sits in a valley. Weather can be quite hot.

When I played, I did alot of layup shots. Your course management has to be good. IF you are not used to walking 18 holes, pay extra for buggy. Even if buggy on track still not so jia lat. Distance between tee boxes can be quite far.

Club house is old. I suggest you bring your own toiletries.
