- Can anyone advise how much would the shipping be if I buy a golf bag from jap sellers thru rakuten? About 3kg but I suppose the cost would be more on size volume than weight for this.... Much thanks in advance!
Would be about $95 plus minus Thanks! It's in SGD right?
yes Thanks! | |

yes Thanks! I think weight plays a part too. I was charged 5000yen for a 2.9kg bag back in March this year. Comes to about S$62. So you may be charged cheaper if your bag is lighter. Cheers

| Not totally relevant but...in Japan now and I checked out Festival Golf and in-shop golf equipment at BIC in Ginza. Wow when they have a sale, they really have a sale. Nike pants - $50. Le Coq driver cover $40+. Japanese salesgirl in golf skirt - priceless. Unfortunately the ole nag is with me. | |

The more i read about your posts, the more i have an issue holding back on not being polite.
Chien spoke from his heart how many of us feel about your posts and he is certainly right in many areas.
Evidently, you are not familiar with the Japanese culture and they way they work.
They are a nation proud of their language and ethics. Speaking good english is not part of their DNA but is becoming an essential skills nowadays.
I run a JDM setup and i know that dealing with them.
They are NOT Singaporeans and they don't complain. They will be polite and move to provide service recovery on any customers' unhappiness.
If you are truly unhappy about buying japanese stuffs from Rakuten, there is always eBay or other portals internationally that you can buy from.
Heck!
you can buy from me! haha. i speak good English!
I will also be happy to help you procure any JDM, throwing in good communication and customer service.
Best Regards
AG @Andrew-golf I know you gang up with chien because you know chien personally. Well I know a bit about Japanese culture. I worked for Toshiba once and my boss is Mr. Hirumi. I had to visit Tokyo to receive Training for a month. From what I've seen the work ethic is far superior compared to other Asian people including Singaporeans (not talking about Toshiba alone but other businesses in Tokyo). That's why I'm confused, are Rakuten sellers really Japanese people? And I know what Rakuten is. A bunch of (home?) based sellers trying to sell their goods on the internet. Maybe their portal is originally in Japanese but being translated automatically by some google algorithm? Same as ebay? But not as big as Amazon? But maybe, maybe it's an American culture to ship their order the next day. BTW @eden, I'm not a VIP member on ebay. But all my orders shipped the next day. Sorry but my understanding from your comment that you have to be a VIP member to receive a proper service? Their EMS shipping is very fast. 3 Days to get into Singapore? The only drawback, like I said, is the order processing time. If I were a seller on Rakuten, ALL my customers are my VIP members. Sorry this is my last read on this subject. I didn't learn anything new but a bunch of defensive sensitive comments (from people who sell JDM clubs).
