Im using the WT3. It works well for me especially for approach shot distance and hazards. Batt life maybe a a challenge if you play more then 18 holes in a day flipping from hazards to score card.

Got it from amazon n it's a piece of trash.. Don't get it. How is the S6 no good? Isn't this an improvement of the S4? And with the swing analyser?

I am using the S4 now and it is quite all right. S6 is supposed to have color display and swing analysis on top of all the functions that S4 has. Any reason why you think it is no good? Cheers

| I got my S6 from Golfsmift and quite happy with it. It is light weight so it will not affect your swing. | |

| Hi is the S6 very thick and bulky?
Does it show in same screen distance to front, middle and back?
I surpose it has a time mode as well?
I am thinking of Golfbuddy WT4

| S6 is not bulky and lighter than S3 and S4. But a bit expensive. If just for distance reading S4 more value for money. | |

| I'm using an S6. Here's a bit of my experience with it: 1 On full charge and left alone, just telling the time, the charge lasts for a month. 2 Tempo trainer - tested at the driving range. You need to get a good hit and tell it. Then it begins to tell you if your following strokes (on or off the course) are according to the tempo you've set. 3 You need to be at the actual course that you're playing at in order to select the course (the gps will start to locate your position and suggest courses nearby - you can't select a random course anywhere else. 4 Distances to the pin are displayed - 3 positions (pin in front, middle, rear of green) - it does not tell you where the pin actually is (you have to visually sight the flag colour). Accuracy really depends on whether the courses have been updated/inputted into the device. 5 At dog legs, it can tell you where the pin direction is. 6 You can input scores after a hole - it can take in number of putts, direction of tee-off etc. You need to push one of the side buttons (I usually forget which one) to input your score. 7 Display is in colour, although it's really primitive LCD-type colouration. If you're looking for 720p high graphics display, you'll be disappointed. 8 Charging is via a snap-on supplied USB cable and if connected to a computer, you can upload/sync your scores to your Garmin Connect account. While connected, you may receive firmware updates and maps/courses updates if available. Cheers! | |

| I could provide some feedback on Garmin S6 and Golf Buddy WT4. I am using the Golf Buddy WT4 and my friends are using the S6. My watch can last for 2 18 hole games while theirs could only last for 1 game, turning on the watch just before the game to preserve battery life.
In addition, my watch could detect some courses that the S6 could not.

| Recently, brought the Approach S6 and used it on course.
Frankly not a positive experience. - The watch reset itself 3 times during my round of golf. The score was erased after each reset.
- Battery life is very poor, after one round of golf the battery life left with 35%.
- Once the S6 is link with your phone, it will receive all notifications from your phone. ie emails, sms, app notification. you can't select what notification you wish to received.
- some of the courses in Singapore not updated, ie NSRCC Changi has been renovated but not updated by Garmin.
Not worth buying for the price.
