| MT, I've been quite busy over the last few days so have not participated actively in the forum (hard as that may be believe). However, I was told about this by several folks. I was so certain that RB2 wasn't you but I guess I was mistaken. The one thing which remains absolute certain in my mind is that you are a good person but with a wicked st reak, nothing more. Wicked in the sense of being naughty, not cruel. What impressed me, however, is your ability to stand up and be honest about it. That took courage and dignity. Whatever has happened, has happened. Let's move on. TS (who has his own wicked streak) PS. Hmm... maybe these LSE boys aren't too bad after all

I heard lawyers charge by the letter, so 1 extra "r" can bill more? Or maybe he's got some streaking tendencies and he sees MT as meat??

| Ssquirrel, beside redbull1 and 2, the forum has only one banned user beside the spammers. And that person is NOT ul. This show how infrequent the ban function is used. | |

| Kudos to MT.. played with him before.. and chatted.. definitely he's not mean/wicked in anyway.. i guess boys just like to have abit of fun.. albeit for this time.. it's from a incorrect avenue...
He has since apologised like how a man should, let's move on and have more fun on the golf course!
And of course, I am very sure that most, if not all of the the GR-ers are very appreciative of the efforts of Sunny/Missmoon and all the many moderators and volunteers, it is never an easy thing to coordinate the monthy golf events with so many participants and still has to look after the logistics.. making sure all of the golfers reach the course.. etc.. etc..
A big THANK YOU to Sunny/Moon and all who put in that extra bit to make this forum a lively one!

| Suggestion is to talk , fm my limited email experience in In-lish, there are times, words come out wrongly thru emailing....so here my request, take it offline, talk it over since we all know each other (for those who mite/hv not see me in person, some say my thumb looks like Brat Pitt)...mountain make into mole hill, mole hill make into no hill, no hill make into bunker....
here is my dedication to all....and will be passive in this thread

| rex,
i really deserve to kena F by you lah. i know how much you and MC were arguing for me. but i know that i was suspected to be redbull when i wasn't, and honestly, my childish response to that was to actually become the person i was suspected of being. if sunny can say from the bottom of his heart that he never for a single second suspected me of being redbull, then i sincerely apologise and take back my statement. anyway, let it be known that I meant no harm, and that actions are always amplified when seen by the victimised party.
in the first place, I never seeked to disrupt or cause any unhappiness, distress or duress to anyone by creating redbull2. in fact, from my observation of the reactions to redbull2's postings, there was only two people who reacted extremely adversely to his postings. most forum users did not even bat an eyelid.
jason, i am not evil, but i guess that sometimes, it takes a crazy person like me to do things like that, things which are viewed as unorthodox, but would we have been able to find out the intensity of people's emotions otherwise?
i never knew you guys viewed it so seriously.
anyone who knows me and my previous postings know that i never had any malicious intent to destroy or wreck this forum, and i believe that i have contributed to this forum as much as i possibly could.
anyway, i will say it here openly, that I have received numerous MSN and off-the-forum messages about my behaviour on the forum, things which I do that are seemingly mundane, things such as having a geoduck on my signature, such as asking where to find uncle lau. I don't know why I receive these messages, I am sure it is about creating a better community about everyone, but surely the quality of the community is not judged by my questions or signature, but by the quality of my discussions, thoughts and posts?
Anyway, astute observers and followers of the forum will realise that many key personnel with a vast knowledge about golf and who have contributed in numerous ways to the activity and quality of the forum have withdrawn their use from the forum. I shall not name names here, but I can definitely justify what I am saying.
I would like to hence ask, why did these people withdraw. Was it due to all my cheekiness and my immense OTT humour and vulgar letters? Or was it due to something else?
But oh well, your neighbour can't chase someone out of your own house, can he?

| Members come and leave, that is the nature of a forum..
Duval,
I agree to your suggestion.
We talked to a lot of golfers every day and we make it a point to visit our GR members every week at the range with little treats paid from our own pockets, visit bfg to discuss plans that they might want to have on GR, visit demo days to get info on equipments. We treated everyone as good friends, and are open to talk things out. Do call moon/sunny/mods/volunteers if you have any issues with regards to the forum matters, which i believe a lot of ppl have our numbers. I hope in return we are also treated as friends and even better to spare us from sarcasm remarks (not referring to you).

But oh well, your neighbour can't chase someone out of your own house, can he? for your info, just because you asked. I did not suspect you are redbull. The person i suspected turned out to be correct. The person logs on forum during the morning same time via mobile and then by office internet. It is a public transport taker who check and reply forum while on bus and train and that rules you out. Rex has seen your geoduck image and even for a highly westernised person found it unsuitable for asians especially singaporeans as the image was taken in suggestive and provocative behavior. Lastly, MORE than 20 ppl had complained about redbull2 ethics and they do not like it. Making a mockery out of something for charity is tasteless. Personal attacks behind a fake user is cowardy. Imposing as someone who had just settled his problems ptely and causing him distress is inconsiderate.

| my 2 cents worth based on the limited info that i read on the thread...
If "Redbull" is such a sensitive nick, maybe the mod/admin should just ban all form of nick that has any resemblance to "Redbull" ie "red_bull", "redbull1", "redbu11"... Otherwise, i personally do not think that anyone creating a nick which has any resemblance to "redbull" should be faulted.... unless, of coz, he/she breaks some forum rules and regulations....
As such, with regards to this particular issue, i think the mods have been a bit too hard on MT if what Ssquirrel mentioned is true (ie no rules and regulations are broken).. Everyone should take abit of blame..
Nevertheless... lets move on... make peace and not war...

| Pardon me, i did not bother to read both threads, but i can roughly guess what transpired.
Basically a prank pulled by a forum member.
he has apologised, moderators should consider locking this thread. If there is a need for further discussion, please take it offline and to PMs to prevent things from escalating.
just an opinion from a newbie to these forums.

| Siaw8, rules and regulations are broken. The offending posts were removed which is why you did not see them. The very fact of creating a duplicate acc is already breaching forum rule. | |

| Hi MT, Wow ... your "cheekiness" so similar to me, we could have been brother... Hell yes, I heard your nuttiness in golf training from Tendy and I love your sense of humour (yes, even the GeoDuck). But one thing that subdued my previous character is my wife's constant reminder: "too much of something is not good for you" (even jokes). Just keep coming back and let's make this place a healthy forums for all (it doesn't mean no dirty jokes... just... not too much). My hats off to our mods for trying to warn you in private, very tactful (reminded me of my wife hehehe...) and their super super dedication to make this forum the best golf forum in our republic...
P.S. LSE has done a lot to your English? Apologies letter also so "cheem"...

| This thread is long overdue for lockup.
MT has apologized but still sound buay gam wan.
If any of you still have issues with Sunny and Moon and the rest of the yellow-nicked group here, we are avail on MSN.
Talk and trashing out of other issues is best done face-to-face.
I am being the micro-manager now.
