OCBC Golf Series 2010 Laguna Leg Champion is from Golf Republic...AGAIN!

I had the pleasure of witnessing the crowning of the champion of the Laguna leg last evening. Although play was stopped after 14 holes and double par added as scores to the last 4 holes, a champion stil emerged with 35 points on System 36 Stableford.

If Golf Republic's own MLoy is our Lorena Ochoa, judging from her 2nd runner up and recent Open Champion laurels, then this gentleman is our Tiger Woods equivalent.

Why?

Because never before in all the years the OCBC Golf Series has been running has there been a back to back champion. He took the last leg at Sentosa a few short months back and he pipped the rest again yesterday at Laguna's Masters course.

Ladies and gentleman, I give you Golf Republic's very own PORESIA!!!!!



Here's the best part, he won $5000 CTC premium travel vouchers the last time around. And yes... he walked away with another $5000 tonite for a grand total of $10,000 of premium golf travel.

BTW- Did you play just 15 holes?...

Finished 15 holes but only 14 holes was counted as some only done 14. I was 7 over after hole 15. Laguna white tee is not as challenging compared to serapong. Managed to recover in few holes Tat I dun drive well. Par 3 was great, 3 pars + 1 birdie.

I will be heading to Hokkaiddo late next week with my family for a short holiday at the courtesy of CTC..

18th june, kranji will be my 1st golf game in june and I will hv another big match on tat day and i look forward to seeing all GRs there!

3rd leg OCBC will be at tanah merah garden course, one of the courses i have never get the chance to play although i hv been there twice to watch HSBC champions.

just hope that I will hv e chance to play at TMCC Garden course. hope that they wont ban me.

FYi, I m not the type of golfer who is a long hitter n can tee off 300 yards. I emphasised a lot on course mgt, short game and composure. My 7 iron only hit 140 yards.

Usually, golfing on sat at poresia......sometimes 2 flights of 3 balls, sometimes 1 flight.

You should say mloy beware of poresia. poresia is any time a better golfer than me. I have to kow tow to him. I hope too to learn from him.

Mloy, you the Lorena Ochoa of Golf Republic, no need to ask for strokes anymore. 2nd runner up and Open Champion in recent weeks is burned into the back of the minds of many here already.

Notice how everytime you ask for strokes, someone sure come up and post something like "beware of Mloy".
