Taylormade SLDR Driver

TM really coming out with lots of 'new tech'. The "slider" looks good. If can tweak without a wrench will be even better!

I saw one in person today and get a chance to hit a few balls.  Ok, less than 7 balls as my in-laws are waiting to have coffee with me.  I have to say that it looks good from address and you won't think about the busy gimmick on the sole.

Although it feels like just any other TM driver at impact, I have to say it is pretty low spin even with the Kai'Li 60 shaft installed.  A few more testing time is in order for me to give out further comment...

Didn't experiment with the slides, so I didn't know if the bias really work.  Given the X-flex shaft, and the bias set to fade, it does produce fade at all shots.

Just heard that the 1st public appearance of the SLDR in singapore will be on 17th aug at mbgc range, demo from 10am to 4pm.

Anyone anyone know whether can R9 adapter fit sldr head?

Or maybe which other head can R9 adapter fit?

If I remembered correctly. 

SLDR, R1, rbz stage 2 - interchangeable 

R9, R11, RBZ - interchangeable.

jetspeed is interchangeable with SLDR, R1, stg2 as well. tested and proven!  

Just saw this from TMaG Singapore! Might be a great way to find out more about the LOFT UP campaign and to test out the 2014 lines of equipment from Taylormade!

Bringing this thread back to life because... surprise surprise, another "new" driver from taylormade!

the SLDR WHITE! all specs are exactly the same, loft options and shaft options are the same... nothing new about the club other than the paint job! but i gotta say, it looks pretty decent in white!! though i do prefer the charcoal! we'll have to wait and see it in person  personally, i would love a matte grey version of the SLDR!

Looks cool, but guess I'll still prefer the original not-so-glaring matte grey color.

My golf pro used to tell me, club maker just redesign the look of the driver and call it a newer model.. eg burner 1 and burner 2 drivers. 

Now they are doing it blatantly!

Ah...still loving the charcoal grey...

Another usual marketing ploy of TM ... I guess Callie may follow suit in no time ... Currently the latter is more subtle when comes to adopting cosmetic change in their new equipment ... In other words, Callie prefers to launch a new equipment packs with new technologies and not juz cosmetic changes ... at least for now.

Eh, dun think colour can copyright lah.

No sane court in the world will do it unless it is really a special one that defines the product.

actually they can be. just like Tiffany blue.
though normally these shades of patented colour are not discernible to most common eyes.
