But met Sunny the other day and was told it's not conforming.
Anyway, love the ball.
8) official reply from taylormade http://www.taylormadegolf.eu/balls/TP-Red-Important-Announcement.html Apparently it is too fast and would give you additional distance... i guess that is what everyone likes

I used to feel this way too; I always considered them as "rental balls"; rent them and then return to the course. But then again, you do get some crappy balls; from the outlook, they look fine, but they don't seem to fly properly... If you factor in the cost of the golf game, it might be more worth it to spend a little more on better balls if it adds to the enjoyment of your game. You don't want to wonder if it's the ball's fault, when you hit a good shot, but don't get the desired result. After all if the golf game costs mid to high $100, and then factor in the time, travel, etc. Then if you use a $0.50 ball and wonder why even some good shots seem to go bad? I think that if you stick to a particular ball, the advantage is knowing how to ball reacts. How it performs in the wind; how much roll/spin on the greens etc. Now got many sales on, can go buy some average cost balls (~$25); Precepts, Reygrandes.. all not too bad...

| My golf started improving when i start using better balls. Like what Ssquirrel say, the cost of a new ball is nothing as compared to the golf game. by using new balls, you tend to be more cautious on your game too. Trust me, it really works, especially if its expensive balls. | |

REALLY??? I do stock up some good balls which costs around $5/each and I also use some that is around $2/each. Very often when I was in e mood will bring 1sleeve of higher value balls and chances is..I LOST ALL at e course Ironically..my lower value balls survive very well..sometimes no lost ball for e whole game IMHO..e higher value balls do give better performance, spins and stop on green..also better feel and sound on putts.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot when I play at Palm Resort next week. Let's hope the balls down find the bottom of the water too often.

Tourstage balls are expensive man, second only to Homma if I am not wrong.
Anyway will try to play some tourstage this Thursday.

| You may try the Homma shop at Marina square if they are still there.
Last I heard, homma balls price tag $150 or around there.
Only datuk2 can afford.
Make sure you don't hit them in the water should you have some in your bag.

| I use any balls that are cheap. I not worry about distance. I only want accuracy. A straight 180 drive is good enuf to achieve a birdie or par. | |

| If I can drive my ball straight and to the intended target, I would want a ball that can give me extra distance.

| I only use ball that I feel the same with the putter. Soft and must not feel rock. Distance wise, some ball really travel further than other ball on average but it depend on individual. | |
