golf balls

Can anyone advise me do golf balls have shelf life? Thanks.

Am sure they do... But really, don't think it matters too much at our level. I've got heaps of balls from 2006 (stopped for a long while). Using some now, and for the most part work well. Some are yellow, and some seem tacky, and others feel harder. For those that are iffy looking, put them aside to practice your chipping or putting (or a kamikaze water tee shot).
