| Hi golfcoma, just go down to laguna to look for ( u know who!) shop that selling Miura. They got lots of ready made wedges with difference shafts for you to try. As for the raw miura Kanji wedge, the weight is at D6-7. It's very heavy. For me, I still pefer the normal wedge shape. I like the raw Kanji is for the weight n better feel. Shape n design is the same. But it get a lot of dent n scatches easily. Lee- time for you to change too... | |

Lee- time for you to change too... Thanks, but I'm currently based in Shanghai. So I unfortunately don't have the option trying before buying.

no wonder so crowded... were you in orange shirt...? Red shirt I think.. (ah my memory... ) Anyway, was comparing the KBS tour shaft and KBS C-taper. Unfortunately there isn't a baby on KBS C-taper so it wasn't exactly apple to apple. Hitting a Tournament blade on KBS Tour and comparing it with hitting the baby blade on the same shaft, convinced me that I've got the right head. but shaft decision is still up in the air.

but shaft decision is still up in the air. I got no. 36 waiting for me. Finally, a review from someone who hit the tournament blade and the small blade back to back. Yes, the small blade is just so solid, isn't it? Got a friend who bought a C-taper in a single iron to try, I think it was a 6 iron. The shots were ballooning, and distance reduced. I tried it, and same result. We were both wondering what the fuss was about with C-taper. Maybe not hitting it correctly to activate its best features, not sure. But my friend is a single handicapper, so his swing should be correct, so, wondering what the problem is. Not sure where he got the shaft from, so can't vouch for the authenticity. These days, one never knows.

| A recent shot-of-the-day feeling. Fairway bunker. 150m to the green, fairway sloping uphill all the way. Took one club extra, 6 iron. Grip down 1 inch.
Focus on good tempo, smooth transition, effortless swing. Caught the ball clean.
Went exactly where I aimed, and carried 150m upslope too.
Is it the club? Or the swing? Perhaps a bit of both?
One thing for sure, as the swing continues to develop, I am appreciating this blade more and more.
Just me sharing.
Peace.

| Dear Bros,
I became a Miura owner about 2 months back - when I got myself the 202 on KBS Tour 90 shafts (3 to PW). Recently, ordered a 501 set (4 to PW) on KBS Tour 90, delivery next week! - early Christmas present for myself!! Not about to add to the collection - the wedges, the hybrid and the putter (TP Mills putter doing me great service).
Cheers!! | |
