Your 1 iron is like what the Adams Pro Black hybrid was to me initially. A very difficult club to launch.
Gradually, I got to know more and more, not about the club, but about my swing. And when I found I could launch the pro black, I discovered I could also launch the blade.
And ironically, I have never been more accurate on a par 3 than w the blade. as I mentioned above, I had a drooping right shoulder, and hooked the blazes out of my MP52. I can aim right and hit the green, but because it was a hook, it would run off. With the Miuras, I am recently sticking it close to the pin up to 5 iron, 170m. With cb in my case, not possible previously, in fact, never pin-seeking before.
But, no need for me to elaborate, you've played blades before, so you know how it is.
Good to hear you are working w a coach on your swing after your hiatus. It will save you a lot of time and effort down the road as you know.
When I can't flush my irons on the course, I know a flaw has crept in, I can target it for immediate correction in the next round at the range. Helps to keep it sharp at all times. My problem is that I am launching everything too high. Part of this rework of swing is to reduce the launch angle... Very tempted to get Miura once I got my swing back. But I am looking to put in graphite shaft because of previous injury. Anyone put in graphite with Miura irons?

Anyone put in graphite with Miura irons? Going for a fitting will tell you what fits your new swing best.

I see that BFG is very popular in GR. I google and found that Miura is distributed by Torquegolf. Where to do the fitting?

| you can get fitting practically anywhere you would like to. Popular in this forum is BFG. Torquegolf also provided fitting. If you are going to buy new club, then it can be a one stop shop to get everything done up. Unlike off the shelf product, Miura is only the club head. THe shaft, grip, ferulle etc will need to be fitted to the club head. You can ask them to do the fitting for your while you're at it.

HTH oh...so can I get Miura heads from TG and go to BFG for fitting? The main thing is the swing/shaft/flex analysis, heads (lie bending) and swing lead powder weight. I used to fix and change grips myself.

I think you need to check with them. Give them a call. I know some brand don't sell only the head, so you need to get assembled by them. Give them a call to confirm.

Don't think it's possible to buy head only from Torque Golf, dmateo is right. I bought my MP52 from a golf shop, and promptly sent it to my custom fitter to remove the standard shafts, and fit in a set of PX that suited me. I just wanted the head only as well. So, it was great to find I can get Miura from my fitter built completely to my spec without redundancies. Gives me peace of mind to know I get the set from the same source. I get full after sales service as well, tweaking lie, swingweight, etc as my swing evolves.

Was a tough decision between the fubuki and the kajiki. For my hybrid, I also changed the shaft from tour ad (after market) to graman. I think that the fubuki irons are great, if you like something with a little kick! I love them. Was deciding between those and the ozik, but settled on the fubuki.

Just got myself a set of baby blades from TG. To answer your queries, apart from wedges, doubt you can get the irons' heads alone. Fitting can be done by their in house fitter Joseph. Personally, I have visited some of the more popular fitters eg, Raymond Er, Jeff Goh and Big Fish to name a few, and I think each and everyone has their own strengths and clients who swear by them. U just need to see which fitter you are comfortable with. TG has one of the most extensive range of Ozik shafts on demo and they are just wicked! There are some CB501s demos on ozik shafts if you r interested. Hope this helps!
