Help! Sunblock aint cutting it ... my neck is badly burnt ... and could put an abrupt end to my promising career as a weekly hacker
Anyone wearing hats? Or any other suggestions for neck/ ear protection?
Fyi .. Already putting an spf50 lotion before the game, and constantly reapplying a spf30 spray every few holes!
No pain no gain, but this is really really bad!!

Hi Tourswing,
I have seen some people who wears polo tee turn up their collars.
Maybe you should wear mock neck tee or get a buff to cover your neck.
Cheers

I got one of those bush hats from beach road market, cost me five bucks. It shields the neck area perfect.

Don't worry about looks - it's all about protection. I'd say go for the crocodile dundee hats if you need the added protection. (our resident pro, KLT, looks good in 'em)

You know the dark spots that old folks have in their face and neck. i already have 'em quite a bit, and they grow. My doctor told me that sun exposure drive these skin cells growth.

I tried once wearing a straw hat used by the farmers at the rubber plantation.....big one around 18inches in diameter......fm protection wise it works fine...but when I do my 'over-the hurry-and then result in power fade ' driver shot...the hat will fall off...coz too much resistance against my head motion
something smaller will be great

Ive read that the effects are long term ... and we dont even know the true extent of the damage right now ... Itll all show up in years to come ... Drastic times call for drastic measures!!!

The cheap way is to safety pin a towel to your cap! Maybe can get the cool bandana and safety pin it to the cap!

Go Check out the Pro Shop at NSRCC at Changi. I did see some bush hats (Some pros there are wearing them) with neck protection that can be folded. I think it was like $35.
