| Hi all,
Read another thread and jogged my memory about this so thought I would share in case some are not aware.
I was told by a police officer who seizes offensive weapons at the 2nd link customs that golf clubs are not allowed to be beside you in the car, they view it as a weapon. Explanations of sometimes take out to practice swing don't hold water. If get caught at customs coming back from Malaysia, you get a warning. If get caught on the road in Singapore, it's the book.
In Singapore, there is no such thing as self defense argument.
According to him, golf clubs are only allowed in the boot inside of your golf bag.
Only steering wheel locks and torches are allowed.

| I have a steering wheel lock the shape of a baseball bat. Use it whenever I golf in Malaysia. The salesman who sold it to me also said that it doubles up perfectly as a weapon. | |

Quite frankly, don't be a hero. If they want the car, take it. It's insured. If they want the handbag, take it. Money can be re-earned. Life, on the other hand, is fragile.
