Guys, I have the 3G iphone mobile data plan and the portable USB broadband plan.
But the iPad they are using micro sim card.....what should I do?

SBH, It means an additional SIM card that uses the data plan from your current phone plan. All telco offer this, you probably need to pay a few dollar more.

SBH.. just go to them ask for multi-sim card.. ask them u want to use in ipad.. they will cut for u. n install. additional $15 per month

its more economical if u r on unlimited plan already.. so tis additional card will be tag with your current sim

i am on same multi sim plan for my ipad.

Since you got mobile broadband, throw away the dongle and get a mifi device which was mentioned by others in this thread. You can even cancel yr iphone data plan cos yr iphone will forever be on "wifi" from yr mifi device. This is the cheapest based on yr usage pattern.

If you ask me how to best save money and use internet on the move. I will just get the iphone with the iphone data plan (up to 12GB). If my computer needs internet, i will tether the iphone with my laptop. I'll get a multi sim which is only $5 a month for me for my ipad. It's basically not much more but I get all the connectivity i need.

My Android can do tethering easily....so should I get at 3G model?

If ur Android phone is 2.2, there's the option to create a WiFi hotspot so u can use connect via WiFi to ur phone and surf dun need 3g, but of course if ur hp ran out of juice = no internet too

To save all the troubles, I think I will go for the 3G

Bought my iPad from the airport. But felt sometime it takes forever to load a page.
Do you have such a problem?

I never had this problem in US but experienced it here.

I just reload the page and it's back to normal.

SBH .. i hv same prob sometimes too.. i reckon its the recption using 3G sim card.. using wifi i dont hv such prob..

also always clear history cache n cookies..
