| iPad users, how do you save your documents to? As the iPad does not have a document folder like the windows. Do you have to be on-line before you can have access to your documents? | |

| No, with apps like Documents to Go, Pages, Sheet and Keynote, you can manage your files from within iTunes. Click on the iPad entry on the left side of the screen, and in the main window, select the tab labelled 'Apps', scroll to bottom, and you can manage files from there | |

| I use my iPad daily now. News, movies, games, work... it's awesome Make sure you get the 3G version cause it's quite pointless without 3G (not enuff decent hotspots in SG... and wireless@SG is kinda crap). | |

| My coach brought his iPad to lesson ... Showed us the swing technique, DOs n DONTs etc. with an app he purchased. Cool ... Enabled us to understand what he's trying to tell us even better. | |

- Technospaz,
how much did you pay for the additional sim card ? What I did was to apply for 2 multi-SIM micro-SIM cards. One for the iPad, the other for the iPhone. This way, the iPad can latch on the data bundle I have for the iPhone. That cost me $10 more p/month. It beats having to straddle multiple data plans/contracts.

| Thanks techospaz: yes multi sim is the way to go for iPad 3G. But being cheapo, I just ordered the wifi model last night. Will jailbreak my iPhone and use it as an mifi acess point. This will save $ on the multi sim charges and $200 on the iPad price. | |

| Agree, i use multi sim with my iPad too and cut it up myself, still do not understand why the telcos dun want to wake up. Obviously they know this is one loophole which is being exploited! | |

| HI fellow ipad users
For those who dont have the 3G version (like me) just get a MIFI wireless device eg Huawei E5830. See http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/4737/3-mifi-huawei-e5830-review..
It accepts any of ur local telco 3G SIM cards eg MI, Starbub or Singtel even just the Data SIMs... and without the need to cut up.
The modem, which looks like a small silver pebble, works by creating a wireless hotspot and then connecting to the 3 mobile phone network, allowing you to surf the Internet on any device that has Wi-Fi connectivity - as long as you've got 3G coverage. That means laptops, netbooks, but more importantly iPods, iPads, Eye-Fi SD cards, PSPs and a stack of other devices, gadgets, and gizmos will be made available.

| Stay away from Starhub. Horrible coverage, slow data speeds. | |

| I will be getting an iPad soon, I am looking at 16gb is that good enough? Since I won't be loading a lot of programmes or stuff and will be using dropbox. Any must have apps to recommend?
BTW I saw this Acer net book with dual OS, Android and Window 7....very tempting
