| Glover's on the green, safe. The cup is his unless he 4 putts. Unlikely. Congrats, Glover! | |

Congrats, Glover! Heard from my shorthitter on Sat, that Glover is one of the shortest drivers on tour. Cant really see it on TV. Besides all their drives really look far. Dunno whether this is true...

| Ever wondered why sometimes... pro golfers, who have never won a single round or is infamously quiet, can suddenly win bigger names like tiger woods or mikelson... Heard from some folks that some of these pros... only focus on 1 course and only sign up for that competition for that 1 best shot at glory. UNlike tiger, who went for most tournys at many different courses, they only focus on ONE... so they know the course inside out, and at the back of their head such that they can walk the course blindfolded. Now i know what is the meaning of HOME COURSE. My home course is SAFRA NSRCC, Palm Resort, and Orchard. All that i am so familiar with. hehe. | |

hehe. Golf is like that. You just need to have everything working correctly over a period of 4-5 days where things click. The better golfers have these good streaks more often but it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes, someone gets into a good patch with several strokes of good luck. The next thing you know, he takes home the cup. The fact that the game is so unpredictable in that respect makes watching it so entertaining and playing it so challenging

| yeah man...
I used to believe in luck 4 years ago. After I started golf, I came to realise, there is nothing called luck. All hardwork, and hour and hours of practice and perfecting that 1 swing.... for that single moment.
Watch the pro swing on TV, etc etc, they do not happen just out of the blue. So much effort put in... it just do not happen out of luck.
Ratio of hole in one: 1 in 66000 for average golfers and 1 in 20000 for pro golfers. Luck???

| Only thing I remembered about Glover is that he holed a 30yd bunker shot to win the Walt Disney event a couple of years ago. The other time I noticed him was when he switched over to Nike the following year. Mahan has this poser pose. I guess its the years of pent-up geekness (see Golf Digest last year) that makes him wanna break out. | |
