| I'm currently using callaway x-tours with dynamic gold regular shafts...i was thinking of getting customs fit at ping and buying either the i15 or g15 irons...but seeing as how i was taken to the cleaners last month both at resorts world and betting against that damn octopus, was thinking that it might be better to just change the shafts to ns pro 950 series as i'm looking for a lighter steel shaft....anyone know how much a ns pro steel shaft costs (approximately)....what are your thoughts on this? new shafts or new irons? | |

| Both! But try BFG. they have pull outs nspro (apparently a lot more golfers change from nspro then to nspro ) Trade in your shaft and the price wouldnt be as steep as brand new ones. i did the above. Very happy with my irons shafted with nspro 950 stiff pull outs from dgman. Another light shaft is kbs tour 90 and aerotech steelfiber, they cost a bomb though and no pull outs! | |

| My suggestion is to go and get fitted. You may be surprised at what suits you the most. Try Big Fish, they have lots of different shaft options that you can try. | |

Me also looking for lighter shaft as my stock TM Steel 105 is very heavy and too stiff (by feel) ... Oh btw, how much will KBS shaft cost? Roughly cost need to compare against changing iron...

| I am told that good graphite shafts may cost more than $100 per piece. Therefore, the total price including workmanship may be quite high in the end. | |

| Sorry jtek, i missed your post. Kbstour90 will weigh tad more than 90 gr after cut. It fits a smooth swing, maybe slower ss. stronger swingers with aggresive tempo are better served by the kbstour (120gr).
As to prices in bfg, better to pm dgman or frostee or just come by. spend some time swinging diff clubs w/ various shaft. Trade in helps. Total cost was about price of 2nd hand iron sets (500-600)
I carry my kbs90 across heads. They are on titty 775cb now.

| Hi all, I have a set of NS PRO 950 GH on my mizuno irons and thinking of changing the shafts. They are very well maintain and since steel shafts can lasts very long, you don't have to worry too much. Do let me know if you're interested. | |
