Same for me. I practise at Bt Batok range, & i love to see my ball spin & stop on the 50m & 75m 'greens'. HOWEVER, it seldom happens on the course. That's comforting but I've seen pros who play on local courses (on TV) and they are able to backspin. Must be ultra-well-kept greens in those instances, huh? I believe that the green matters but a well controlled shot should generate some backspin even if the green is barren or in not-so-good condition.
