Which Swing Trainer is Better? Impact Stik or Speed Stik?

Hi Guys,

which of the swing trainer is better?

- Impact Stik

or

- Speed Stik (with Speed Reader)

I have, and have tried both, and the "reader" on the speed stik broke, checking the site it states quite clearly if reader breaks you need to buy a new unit...

As far as training goes, if you cannot "read the speed" what use is it?

So in my opinion the Impact Stik is a bit more robust...therefore better... the Speed stik is now just a useless red rod rolling around the boot of my car....

is there a speed indicator on the impact stick?
does it help in training to cock wrist?

How about the "power swing fan"??
I bought one, but lazy to use.. and I got bad elbows...



I think the impact Stik good to learn and understand where your impact/release is, and the power swing fan, speed stick good for building up some golf muscles.. But you must be careful when swinging these, because it's possible to end up grooving a bad swing, when mainly concentrating on "powering" the swing.

The impact stick helps u feel where at which part of the swing should more speed be generated. It helps with lag as it creates a resistance as you make the downswing. It's pretty good I'd say.

I've read about the Impact Stick on the net... thought it is quite good considering can use it in the office when itching for a swing!

That's good! not many take the leap of faith to see a clubfitter. It would make the game a little more fun and easier =) good luck

Not likely. Occam's Razor tends to prevail in club fitting. It's usually length and lie, unless you want a shaft change to get better distance and accuracy.

I just hope that my current clubs need minimal adjustments. Wanted to find out exactly my swing speed... impact factor... spin rate etc etc etc... understand more on the effects of my shafts' weight & length etc...

I'm amazed by the Power Swing Fan. How much is it? And where can I buy it? I can really swing it in my office. cool!!!

The only problem with all these swing trainers is that they create alot of noise when u use them. Just a note to those who are intending on using them in the office or something.
