| If u one who have a swing speed of around 110 but still prefer graphite shaft on your irons, then u can look for dean. coaches wise, I will still prefer shamuri aka uncle sam or Trent. | |

bro; dun get u when u say "swing speed of 110 but still prefer graphite shaft on u're iron, lok for dean" can explain pls Sorry to say this but most of the GR or golfers that i have known are always into stiff shafts. And most of them that i have seen, sad to say should be on regular. And go thru all the post on shafts, everybody say nspro shaft is no good. Well, Dean is one that hits very well on nspro. Nice ball penetrating ball flight on a 950 Regular spec, hitting a 7 iron to almost 190m. Well, dean is an example when you can strike the ball well, it doesnt matter what shafts you are on. And why he thinking of going graphite, so that he can hack the daily games that he have, big bets with other pros, monday - friday. Dean does have alot of students over the weekends and if you listen to what he says and at the same time have a open mind to equipment, that he is a good choice. FYI, he uses AP1. I overheard some of the students at Warren mention that Dean doesn't look pro enough because of his equipment, whole load of rubbish.

| True, he once took my 6 iron and carry further than my driver That says more about how bad I am than how good he is i'm afraid - but i saw he hit those long shots on my nspro shafted iron. However sometimes good player don't always make good coach right.. that's why I asked. By the way, just curious, is NSpro shaft hard to handle? Coz that's the impression i get from bro duffy's remark? | |

| Whether the coach is good or not, depends on the student. Some expect wonders without putting in effort. A coach may work for some, but not for some others.
NSpro shafts from some comments is that is high flying, soft, and inconsistent. So very short in terms of distance. But to me, it's still a good shaft in my opinion. Some might ask then why I chg shaft, answer, backside itchy. Hahaha

| hehe.... ok so i can blame the inconsistency of my irons on the nspro (the only consistency is not hitting it to outside fairway - but inconsistently sometimes end up in rough, trees, bushes, water..!)

| Just practise more.... And this includes course playing too. Warren is a course where it requires precision in your approaches, so iron play is important. It's one of those courses that requires u to use almost every club in a 18 hole game. | |
