My golfing adventures in Vietnam

Played at Twin Doves golf course. Young course about 2 yrs old. Small trees. Very links style with VERY VERY undulating greens. Roughs Fairway / green are also a killer.

very nice course...this year must make a trip there for golf..keke

which month are the best month to go there for golfing ?

Between november to January. especially if you play early morning like 6am. Very vey nice weather....

just a quck update, for those planning to come up HCMC over the next few months, Be prepared for very very hot weather in the late mornings early afternoon.

Winston...my wife is thinking about visiting Da Nang in May (over waisak holidays).

How about we play Montgomerie Links?

...and the Dunes!

Waah I just checked their websites, green fees and pics of the beach. Super excited!

Sure not a problem. Maybe I can make arrangements for eeerrrr competitive golf rates. There are only 2 courses there like you mentioned

Either way you still have to stop in HCMC unless you fly silkair (direct I think)

But then...If you bring wife, than I bring who???? heheheheheheheheheh

Now going through a swing crisis and trying to get it sorted out. Hopfuly able to put some good solid practice iinto grooving the new swing.

Just kidding on friend part. most probably will try to see if we can arrange our monthly medal game to be in Danang also, that way it would be more fun for you and the Mrs to join us.

wah paiseh if I make the whole group go to Da Nang, will coordinate with you soonest on the dates. It's either over the Waisak holidays or not until August.

but i'm serious about the solo trip part, Da Nang looks very promising for a weekend getaway
