| Want to start a thread and hopefully everyone will chip in. The purpose to start a self reflection of yr last game and hopefully the people reading it will learn from your self reflections.
Sounds deep huh! OK, talk less and type more... Unleash yr self thoughts here.....

| the easier you swing, the truer and further the ball flight... also, i learned to play within myself and capability and not to force it... | |

| Ok.. I know... maybe sound like heresy to you golf fanatics out there... But I learnt that golf is but a silly game where we chase a little white ball around trying to knock it into a small hole. Enjoy the great outdoors and the time you are spending with your friends. No matter how bad your game is; it's proably much better than anything else your colleagues are doing at work (unless some of them are having wild, unbridled, steamy sex in the office).... In terms of golf: enjoy your game and don't try to play "fix your golf swing" on the course. No matter how bad your game is, you will have at least one great shot, and that's what keep us coming back for more golf; cos we think we can pull off that great shot every time.. Errr... Of course, if there's some serious betting going on.. then you'd better come prepared; practice your Jedi concentration and bring on your A Game! | |

| Learnt that no matter what I shoot, its never good enuff for my pro.
This is good as he keeps me in check all the time and not let me get complacent.
He made a point to lamts18 - that I'm always a better ballstriker than a player. That dawned on me that I give away un-necessary shots most of the time and making my score pretty ordinary even after a great ball-striking round.

| 1. trust your club. 2. swing easy. 3. focus on making clean contact.
you will get there. | |

| Before this thread gets hijacked to other things, let me bring myself back on some other reflections that I had during my last game:
- Got to slowdown my take away and keep my right armpit closed. - Using too much hand & arm power also attributing to lack of distance - Awful course management, got to learn to bite the bullet on some holes with bad lie/obstructions and learn to play smart - Got to work on those damn slices, I thought I had it sorted but it came back, NB!!! - More work on bunkers shots and opening my
On a flip side, chipping was a my saving grace, else it could have been worst....

| every round is different even for the same player playing the same course...
i am now trying to tell myself,
1) let the swing come, dun force. AND dun think of any technical thgts in the swing. 2) follow that day's tendency (after a few holes) whether i m playing more to the right or left. 3) lastly, ENJOY the game.

Probably the best reflection ever.... ha ha ha The caddies I've met are mostly men and when I get a woman to caddy, they are not the kind I'd be chatting up. That said, they are lovely and pleasant people. Very helpful ladies.
