wahahaha after 310m drive still need 3W? wow how long is the par 5? i play with a few long hitter b4... avr 270m they need only a 5W and sometimes iron for shorter par 5... i can only envy n dream one corner.....

| i think airforce or navy there is a very long par 5.
left is OB and right is H2O.
the hole that is quite narrow with trees guarding the green all the way on the left

It is actually more complicated than that. I also take pin position, length of green and wind into factor as well...

- Hi guys and gals,
Who uses a 15 deg hybrid in replacement of the 3 wood?
cheers Hi bro, im using a Cleveland Hibore 16 deg 1i instead of 3 wd. Mainly to tee off for tight fairways, 2nd shots for par 5s at times, rescue in roughs, low punch shots, chip n run, etc..basically most versatile club in my bag.

Not true. I suck at my 3 and 4 irons. That is why I am carrying hybrids.

| Seems like launcher hybrids are easy to hit as compare to 3 woods. Me 3 woods inconsistent too. After listening to you bros here, tempted to change to 1i or. 2i | |

I wonder whether it's the hitting of a FW which makes it tricky, i.e. the sweep stroke?

bro mc.. i agree. Its not easy to launch a 16 deg. Took me awhile to "master" the club to hit off the deck. To bros who wana get 1i or 2i hybrids..pls try out the clubs first at the range to have a feel first before committing.

| Yup. I hardly have the luck to be able to hit 3W or even 5w. The lowest I can go is 3h.... | |

The Cleveland Launcher Hybrid 1H is 15.5˚. I think most 1H would be around that loft.

| I go for 3w, somehow not good in hybrids. Don't know why range so good, green sucks for hybrids. | |

| i considered using a 15degree hybrid for sometime as i didnt hit my 3 wd very gd. now i've got a new titleist one and it's great. i reckon hybrids are easier to get up in the air and more forgiving. however if u r looking to get something that goes flatter and longer, 3 wd wld be choice. | |

| I've not seen a 15* hybrid. Got a 19* and 21* that I use as a 2i and 3i (I don't actually have a 3i in my Miura irons). Far more consistent when playing from the rough, gets the ball up and out, but I sometimes have problems getting a clean strike... | |
