| hi all as the date is getting nearer, we would be scouting around for location and make the booking soon.
Please indicate your preference on timing and let us know.
Please also spread the word among your friends so that by midweek we can have an estimate number to do the booking.

Hi Bro Sunny, My assumption that many of the folks who had signed up are pretty closely knitted either directly or indirectly with one another and the other assumption is that there is no way one can please all..... Suggestion: use 80/20 rule..... If it is decided that it will be weekend, then those cannot make it , CAN still consider doing the donation...or hedge your bet against any of the participants. For me, I am fine .....and will make my donation once regardless if I am participating.... Thanks bro.... Just me ' Duval '

Just me ' Duval ' it isn't the donation part...although this is a charity thing, we won't be able to collect a lot unlike those other charity golf that charges 2k per flight. But normally those charity are dominated by corporates and super rich individual and exclude ppl like you and me (i know there are many super rich in this forum too...). The key is to get participation and let everyone enjoy themselves while doing some kind deeds it is a good start to remind each other that we can give a bit to the society. People with gold can give gold, ppl like us who only have 2 cents, then give 2 cents.

| not at all, i am sure everyone would appreciate your generosity...
if only we can find a solution to let everyone participate and be happy... but it seems that somehow or rather some ppl would be left out. I would be going for the majority if you ask me...

Just me ' Duval ' I agree. 80/20 rule works for me. Good suggestion. As an alternative, we can have 2 games: Friday - for those who want to play on Friday Saturday - for those who want to play on Saturday Of course, if you want to play on both days, that's also allowed but may require a double donation (j/k)

| i was contemplating both days too...but logistic is difficult...
how to give away prizes for those who win on fri? (we won't know until the sat ppl played)...
I'll ask my organising committee members and will keep everyone updated. I'll post the list of committee members later and all questions may be directed to anyone of us

| Personally, Fri or Sat, is ok but Sunny, a draw back to consider if the game is held on weekend, then there would be a higher cost for game fees then lesser collection for charity. | |

| well, we would always collect 20 dollars more (round to the closest 10) for charity as a start. Those who wish to play weekends would know for sure that it would cost more. i don't think that is a big issue. | |

| Yeah, I think those who are keen to play on the weekend would understand that the fees increase. It's a toss-up. If you want the weekend, you have to pay more. I'm sure people would understand | |
