Golf Republic Charity Golf Tournament on 21st August 2009

Dear all,

As proposed by some members, we are organising a golf tournament to commemerate the start of the forum. To make the event more special, we would collect an extra $30 from each participant for donation to a charity of choice.

At the mean time, we would source for sponsors for HIO prize. To qualify for HIO prize at each of the par 3, you would need to make additional donation.

We believe that this would be a meaningful way to start the forum. The event is to be held on 21 Aug. Anybody keen?

Golfing for a good cause is always a welcome treat! Having a great time and giving back to the society is the best combo that was ever created. 8)

i doubt i can play 8th aug tot, will be in KL for the long weekend, but i will come out with 2 new boxes of ProVs ......... not really HIO prizes but can be nearest to pin

i would recommend aug 7. a friday. easier for all to take leave and a perfect way to start the weekend. for a good cause.
