Golf Republic Charity Golf Tournament on 21st August 2009

Argh,

I got investment strategy presentation on 22nd morning so boss will probably not be keen to let me run off and play golf.

Will try to ask for leave this week.

If not, I'll send $40 for charity.

Sorry, i already have a game at 7.30am at JCC on sameday. Company sponsor so cannot miss. Will not be able to tee off at Noon time for this charity game as a result. Really sorry, my colleague never asked me before confirming the date. Please take me out as well.

Most of the confirmed players appear to be those Div A golfers.... any high handicappers playing? Too malu for me to play with the pros here...

There is no minimum skill required to join this game...just a big heart and a yearning to meet new golfers thats all.

I'm not 100% sure that I'll be available on 21st, but I see that MC's asking for payment to be made by tomorrow. MC, what's the updated confirmed list? I think some of the folks that wrote TBC may not be playing, right?

Anyway, MC, can you add me to the list? I'll SMS you regarding the payment. If I can't make it for the day, can consider donating the money to the charity then. Need to support this first event for Golf Republic as well!

currently right now, we only got less than 10 ppl confirmed.

You can F me or badmouth me but sometimes I feel that some are waiting for goodies, compared to the donation they put in, and if worth it, then take part. So generally, they are not in for the charity. Looking at the list, we have initially around 12 flights, some got genuine reasons but some are i feel is just waiting for the returns, "no makan, no goodie bag and 150 buck, i can play a few games in JB leh"

One is we call off the game entirely and as per the last Ikasu-Proto game, we eat lunch and each person donate a little or we really need to get a feedback from the list above on their expectation of a charity game.

Just my 2 cents.

i am sorry but i am in a midst of business trips travelling here and there.

i woke up 1am singapore time this morning, took 2 flights and now i am here in okinawa, japan.


I do not have the time to really sort out my smses as i switched to a 3G phone here in Japan.

I will try to consolidate everything and then post something up here later.

the committee will discuss and then we will post our final outcome.

if necessary, i will of course transfer back the money that came to me. or i can get MT with his shiny white ass to hand deliver to you and u can negotiate extra services with him.

I will hold on to pass judgement Bro. Sometimes, people are really too busy to log on so they might not have replied yet.

If the response is really not good, I will suggest to the committee to tie up with JL to organise the BAS cup similar to the Ikasu & Proto match. End of the day, ppl donate a little more than the green fee.
