so i reclassified u as Foo King Long hitter now Bro, I think you should visit the optician first before you go to den... my average yesterday was 160m and the shortest club i use was the 3wood. So you think again.... How can it be 220m

I didnt like the sound of the tity, so i went for cobra instead. Hopefully the smaller head will result in better impact if i hit it sweet.

| Key to hitting 3wood is to keep on practicing... After hitting a bad shot at the range... take a step back and analyze what you think might have gone wrong, is it your alignment, your stance, your swing, swing speed?
I would refrain from perpetually practicing the driver. If you can learn to hit a 3w off the mat perfectly whats to say you can't hit a driver off the tee!!!
I still use my 3w to tee off and i outdrive my friends using their drivers. Avg drive with 3w is around 230m-240m.

Let me know if you plan to sell it ... However, I would favourably consider it if it is 13 Deg loft.

| Actually hitting wood is alot more easier than hitting long iron. Alot of folks cannot even handle 4 iron well let alone 3 iron ... Without the 3 wood, one would be in big disadvantage especially for long Par 5 hole. When hitting long wood, one should think of sweeping motion as if the ball is just another piece of debri you need to sweep away. Your swing must be smooth and relax. Hope the above helps ... Merry XMAS to all GR members here! | |

I oso find it hard to handle a 3 wd. Usually on my home course, I think I'll pull out the 3wd once or twice at most... I'm quite ok with the 3W. Here's what I do to get comfortable with it. I just keep hitting range balls in quick succession without actually aiming. Its more to cultivate the tempo and confidence in a wood swing as compared to your normal iron swing. After a while you get use to it.

Good tips! I've also have problems hitting 3W and will try those tips next time at range.
