| JT, you cannot ask for strokes'lah. The more you do, the more people will know that you are the one who should be giving strokes. Better to lay low for a while | |

| though I do not carry a 3wd but I carry a 4 wd.....the thing I realized or at least know my own boundary is that I will use it for tee-off and only when the lie is very berry good...ie ball sit pretty on fairway ........and the other thing....I always try to remember to do 1/2 or max 3/4 swing for my only wood vs...my usual swing and keep the takeway flatter than my irons...
PS: that is my theory.....result is another thing
....just me ' a seasoned beginner'

| Any more tips on how to hit 3wd? I oso find it hard to handle a 3 wd. Usually on my home course, I think I'll pull out the 3wd once or twice at most... | |

| haha. Thanks all for ur advices n input.
Will try hitting more with my 3 woods for another 3 mths, if not guess i will change to a hybrid soon. Reasons tt deters me from changing is tt, see anothers hitting off the ground like machaim so easy and when the Woods hit the sweet spot. It's like a sweet "ting", sounds nicer than hybrids imho. Also woods look sexier in its curve and i find most hybrids quite fugly.. lol

(unsuitable in some way, loft, flex, offset, etc) why i say tht, coz i can nvr hit wood for watever reason... until recently, i am given a FOC mizuno 3 wood... so i juz try try loh.... a, result not bad... easy to hit off the deck for abt 175m.... distance nothin to shout abt but easily launch.... but then like they say new toy always work for the 1st few times.. so now i m trying to get used to it... good luck...

| Here are some more: tang-ster tang-ker tang-u tang-zalot tang-gugu tang-erine Okok, if cannot hit 3wd, hit 4 wd lor. Most ppl will hit it further anyway becos of clubhead speed or lack of. Get it reshafted also. Most of the time, that will make the huge diff. If u die die wanna hit it, then concentrate on taking it back low and sweeping through instead of hitting down on the ball. a little divot is ok but not those iron-shots type. | |

| Is the 3w very different from the 5w? so far none of my friends have the 3w, i also don't know why
If it's very different then i don't have the solution.
But if it's rather similar, my solution is to get the mizuno mx700. haha!! I own the 5w 18deg, and i can usually hit it off the fairway or the rough. up slope also sometimes can..down slope never try before. haha
