This is a good reference to.determine how many strokes long hitter shld give short hitter.

Thanks for this. I am curious to know the effects of humidity and temperature on yardage not sure if people here actually adjust to it. I know definitely has an effect though. 
Also, i am not sure what lofts of the clubs are being used here. I can hit tour distances with taylormade (1 club higher) lofts but can never imagine getting these numbers with traditional lofted irons for eg.

Ya exactly. I used to have a Leupold and you have to enter temperature. I wonder what's the factor.

I am consoled after looking at the article from GolfWRX.com ... These distances are still within mortal level ... I guess Tour folks like Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Gary Woodland, JB Holms, the infamous Dustin Johnson, etc. are the exceptional species ...

Looking at the article... I am wondering wats the stats for Asian Tour???

Should we take reference from the PGA tour/ US standard or better to compare with Asian tour averages???

After seeing the average distances... Cements my place among the short hitters... 

I'd have to say the avg distances are pretty accurate. My swing speed is abt 87mph and my drives are 210-220m. Still hunting for that LPGA yardage. Still can't crack the secret to 270yard drives!!!

Any idea where one can get swing speed measured foc?

Look at the chart in the article. if you know your driver distance, you can work backwards to your swing speed. 

It's absolutely free, and you don't even have to leave your house and spend on parking and petrol just to go get your swing speed measured.

Actually it just tells me my driver is f-ing not up to standard. And irons distance does not a driver make.

Dun bluff, you still need to give me stroke even thou ur drive is shorter than mine.

Cannot drive, but can arrive.  

article says 7iron etc but did not state length or loft. 

Some irons are longer and have less loft than old irons and  can be the equivalent of a 6i on other sets
