| Topic: Hitting someone after shouting "FORE" Anybody has experience or can share about hitting others on course? Definitely hitting someone is terrible, but what if you had shouted fore repeatedly... and a group of beginners are with a coach... and they did not react to your shout... Who's fault isit if someone gets hit? You? Coach? the victim? | |

| Get a HCP and golf insurance, even if u are playing in Malaysia, when they dont check at all. Even if no fault of yours, they may still make a claim against you!!! | |

| Haven't hit anyone yet, but got hit twice by the same flightmate. Had sore calf first time and almost lost my balls the 2nd time. Both time shouted fore but could not avoid the ball. Lol And we weren't even betting. | |

| Insurance is a MUST.
Prevention is better then cure.
Full Stop - if you don't have one.

| i got lots of experience in this.... so much so tat everytime i go file a report for my ball hitting someone, the girls at the mbgc or kranji counter will go "hit someone again har???)
It is usually an accident but there are a few rules u need to follow:
1) Never hit the flight on the same fairway (even the share fairway one)... sure way to get ban. Wait for a while if u think u can hit them.
2) Once u think u hit someone, go over immediately... dun wait until all yr flight mates finish hitting
3) Sometimes the victim can get angry... never say "I shout fore but u nvr heard leh". Just apologies as u are not the one in pain
4) Render any assistance u can
5) ALWAYS file a report at the counter after your game, even if victim says no need. Just to be safe in case if something happens, and he needs to claim for insurance.

| Always keep extra gloves for emergency situations ... if you hit someone ... sign the glove and give it to the "victim" ... Dont understand why, but it works for Tiger every time !! | |

| Any senior Bro can advise on golf issurance. Is it like a yearly basis kind of contract (like car issurance) or is it something like a travel issurance whereby its only valid during the few days. | |
