Malaysia to limit petrol on foreign cars....any details?

very vague leh. just mentioned spore registered cars.. but then again, cannot trust those chinese papers lah.

ok, according to starits times, spore cars cannot pump petrol but will be exempted from border checks. so, expect alot of mata station at the kiosks.

I would suggest that those who got M'sia newspaper stating that S'pore registered cars cannot pump petrol and will be exempted from border check, pls kindly scanned it n paste it here so that our GR members driving in can print it out n put it in the car just in case the M'sia custom officers start to check your petrol level. In M'sia, anything can happen!

Guys, Singapore Caltex has increase the petrol price effective today. Expecting the other oil major will follow soon.... Hahaha... Really taking advantage!

Last week while I was pumping petrol in JB, I saw one auntie opened her car boot, took out all her shopping bags and took out ard 7-9 big plastic bottles... she got the pump attendance to assist in filling them up with V-Power. She then put the bottles into the boot and cover them up with many shopping bags....

Haiiz... this is certainly OPEN CONCEPT SMUGGLING....

So did anyone go to JB yesterday? Were you allowed to pump more than 20 liter? Anyone at JB exit point to check your tank? Way I see, you can pump 20 liter per kiosk, and after 5 kisosk, you can pump 100 liters if you really need to, and show only one receipt . At self service kiosks with credit card deals, you hv control over the pump. It's such a joke that both sides of the causeway are governed by stupid people who want to control a commmon commodity.

My guy friend from went in yesterday , he pumped more than 20 ltrs , no check at all.
But heard when going in , spore custom is very strict abt 3/4 tank , checks every car in the morning.

Later I will be going in , will update later . But I think I will pump 20ltrs nia .... dun wan to be the first one kenna summon .....

I went in last fri afternoon before my overseas trip. pumped 25 ltrs and no checks either.
Will have to check with my friends when i m back in SG if there are checks this weekend when they go jb golfing

Anyway , I managed to pump 28 ltrs petrol , i peeped at other SG cars , they pumped at least 35 ltrs .....
So I guessed msia yet to implement .....

Implementation and enforcement not the same

Just returned from Kl this evening. no restrictions as at today. There is a paper stating no restrictions on Singapore cars.

In JB this afternoon, cashier at Esso hand signalled a 'V' to me, dun understand what she meant then saw a notice (looks official) at the pump stating only 20 litres allowed for foreign vehicles.
