Malaysia to limit petrol on foreign cars....any details?

Implementation is one thing. Enforcement is quite another.

Still , each pump limit to 20 ltrs for spore cars ....

haha , i think 20 ltrs is enough for me since going in 3/4 tank .....

Heehee.. let's see how this one plays out. Malaysia has a lot of plans but they don't often work as well when they try to implement and enforce.

If its that difficult, then dun pump at malaysia petrol kiosk loh.

Anyway, at least it won't really affect us that much, which is the right thing to do.

be thankful that they realised that sg cars go in with 3/4 tank and never ask you drive around jb.

I think it would be life as usual for all of us.

Just remember to get a reciept after u pump the petrol , in case they accuse u pump more than 20 ltrs ....

nay...throw away the receipt and say you never pump. Better!

I only know 1 solid male golfer who dun pump petrol at all after our games , rich man !!

I quite kia si... after game, straight away drive back sg. keke.

But then i will hv problem also wor.
Cos usually i will go jb in full tank, come back sg sure over 20litre de..

So does it means that we can top up at the most 20l at the petrol kiosk around the border? So if i have 3/4 and I don't want to top up its fine?

Yes , u are correct unless the JB police want to chu pattern ....

I see.... then got to make sure go in with 3/4 and then dun top up loh. Anyway, the malaysia fuel is not really good too.

I suggest keep the Singapore receipt to show you top up in Singapore otherwsie they accuse you of topping up in Malaysia.

RM$100,000 fine or 3 years jail!!!!. easy opportunity for bribes. Imagine they offer $500 bribe or $100,000 FINE. Unless got hero, most will pay.

Easy for them to get evidence cause got record and video at petrol station (JB petrol station got video? never really notice). The guy at the petrol station can tip off the police, waiting at the corner, when some1 pump more than 20L.

Just rem to bring more loose change for "TIPS".

Folks, let's not jump the gun here. Let's see how this works and how well it's implemented. I'll be heading back to JB this weekend and will definitely need to fill up on gas. I'll let you know if they are vigorous with their enforcement.

Also, please refrain from suggesting bribes etc.
