| Any course inside an military airbase like Sembawang...the garmin or any other brand does not works due to security purpose, It cannot even detect the sembawang country club. I am using GARMIN S3 approach and it is almost one year. it cannot detect but detects all course around it like orchid. I wrote to them about a year ago...still no reply... | |

| Guys hope none of you had committed or bought the S4...the S6 is already out, officially selling July.16 i believe. its going for USD 399. Color, swing tempo measurement & other enhanced goodies. Pls google it and buy the S6 rather than now the "old" S4.
Happy golfing, cheers | |

| I have 2 g6 actually but one I pass to my dad and the other is avaliable my g8 just came in 2 weeks back.
I have reserved the item for one of my buddies le sorry. if he back out then I let u all knw
in my own opinion not worth getting g8 cause plus shipping I paid like 440plus usd and the advantage to me is slightly bigger screen only.
but thats the sucess of e commerce and bad charater (ppl have I also have) of mine

| I just used my G7 for the first time yday. Here's my review.
Pros: - Distance is close to 99% accurate when compared with a rangefinder. The 1% depends on where u place the pin position. - Pin position is adjustable. - Distance of your shot can be measured easily. - Distance to all hazards shown. - Connects to hp via bluetooth to show incoming msgs. Quite redundant for me. - Small and light.
Cons: - Touchscreen not sensitive, needs to press hard. - Graphics and fonts not smooth and sharp as compared to Golfshot app.
Played Kranji which was a relatively flat course. Havent had the chance to check the G7's actual playlike distance (incld slope) against rangefinder with slope.

Happy golfing, cheers But shipping is only in US right? Not available to buy in Singapore or shipping available to Singapore. Cheers

| Garmin G6 - So far in NSRCC is ok for both Changi and Kranji. However, I've used it in Tanjung Puteri.....C Course location on map is not accurate...meaning where you are position and at the map is different...about 20 - 30 m...so distance to green obviously is also out. B course there are some holes I think its hole 15 onward.....A Course is ok. Got a S6 from one of my friend last Sat and same issue on C Course....
My Skycaddie was accurate to the dote for all the 3 courses....if it would have NSRCC, I would've continued to subscribe (unfortunately, all my requests turn to deaf ears despite emailing course request not just myself, also a friend)....been subscribing for past 4 years...if not becoz recently join NSRCC as well; I would've continue to subscribe....
