| What a fairy tale it would have been... quite sad to see play like that for the last 2 holes but the legs must be very tired... wishing him all the best for the Senior Open.. | |

| Ha... for a moment, i thought he could pull it off... just sink that putt and he would have made history... he must have felt emotional and felt the nerves.. but he was so gracious in defeat.. | |

| I hope Watson knows many were cheering for him to create history. And there is no shame to achieved what he did. But credit must also go to Cink for managing his game so well, the course was tough... | |

He knew.. from his expression i could tell.. the crowd was rooting for him and even Mr Stewart Cink acknowledged that in his victory interview.. but this time it belongs to Mr Stewart Cink. His birdie putt was so crucial in getting into minus 2.

| were rooting for TW... very sad.....
nonetheless, it's a very competitive tournament...a few thgts...
1) How would Lee Westwood feels? will he feel regret to charge tht last birdie putt after making a superb 2nd shot from the bunker on the 18th? well u can argue tht he needs to cheong coz TW were 3 under at tht point..... sigh~~
2) Cink is superb composed to sink tht birdier putt on the 18th... simply awesome... well i can say he deserve it.. isn't the major champs needs to to be super consistent n cool and fight till the last? well he did it..
3) TW were doin everything right till the end... if fact so right that he hit a perfect 2nd shot onto the 18th green tht rolls over to the fringe...(sigh, very bad luck) made a mistake on the 3rd..... and u can see from the par putt that he is not confident at all... from the moment he misses his par putt, u can see he is quite demoralised and deflated...
well still gota say well done mr TW..... juz this close.....
