ABOUT GROWING OLDER...
First ~Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.
Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
Third ~ Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me; I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
Fourth ~ When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.
Fifth ~ You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.
Sixth ~ I don't know how I got over the hill without getting to the top.
Seventh ~ One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it's such a nice change from being young.
Eighth ~ One must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been.
Ninth ~ Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

| It also means that you won't be too concerned about not hitting that 250yd drive. Save money on that potential new Driver. | |

| I too have swapped from using steel shafts for my irons to graphite. In fact, moving from KBS Tours to Matrixes Regulars (78gs) was quite a drop. I'm adjusting to the gear. It's not easy (at least psychologically) but I'm learning to accept reality that distance is now less of a factor. | |

What a coincidence. I was just looking at the various shafts available this morning as I'm considering taking out my kbs from my irons and replace them with lighter graphites. I was looking at the program 80/95. How do you find the Matrix shafts?

I was looking at the program 80/95. How do you find the Matrix shafts? I love them. I never thought I'd like graphite iron shafts. I always figured myself to be a tough guy... why play with fragile toothpicks But really, they are a life saver. I don't feel as strained after the game and I enjoy the sport a lot more. It took a bit of getting used to (I'm still adjusting) but I do like them. One of the best decisions I ever made. My next change will be to try the SF i80s. I doubt I'll go back to steel shafts again.

The i80 looks good! From paper specs, may fit me better than the Program 80. Where can I get this in Singapore?

Once in a blue moon I hit that "carry & roll" distance. My flight mate who is 63 consistently hit on average 280yds.

Not to worry bro. My the other 63 year friend can still do carry and roll on average 210 - 220yds. All you need to do is remain active in golf. Yah dun worry, I played with a fren whose score is d same as his age... He played 78 at the SICC new course from blue...
